Raman lay lifeless in Ishita's lap. Despite her several screams and shouts he just wouldn't wake up. Mr Bhalla walked over to Ishita and tapped her shoulder, asking her to immediately get into his car so they could drive Raman up to a hospital. In her trance, she jerked the old man's hand and shouted out to her Appa who came running out and took IshRa to a hospital leaving behind a crying Mr Bhalla.
Flashback
Mrs Bhalla had gone over to her Maiyka as her Mother was very unwell. She'd decided to leave behind a young Raman as she didn't want his school to suffer. It was the season of winter and Raman who had a pretty weak immune system had fallen prey to the nasty weather! Mr Bhalla had stayed awake the whole night nursing his little one back to health.

Mr. Bhalla is in his dark, secluded room; tears flowing from his eyes as he thinks back to the past few days of his disregard of Raman and all his sacrifices. Mr Bhalla is ashamed at his deeds. He knows he's treated his son wrongly, accusing him of becoming selfish. He realises that Raman is his pillar of strength. His feet begin to take him to where he should be ... to the hospital

Ishita is going ballistic. Her vision is blurred by her unstoppable tears which she feels no power to hold back. The love of her life lost consciousness in her lap and despite her several calls he just isn't responding. She doesn't want to lose him at any cost because she knows she won't be able to survive a second without him. She screams at her father to hurry up with the formalities so that her husband's treatment can begin.
She kneels down to Raman and caresses his hair, placing a kiss on his forehead, letting her lips linger over on his skin till the doctor moves the stretcher to take him into the ICU
