Fool's Gold, or pyrite, is a mineral with a superficial resemblance to gold. It resembles the real thing but is actually a hoax.
While it is successful in making a fool out of inexperienced jewellers, a keen gem and jewel expert can see through their false image.
Why I am talking about this mineral?
Well, because if Sonakshi's love is pure 24 carat hallmark gold, Ishwari's love was Fool's Gold.
There are some people in the world who will treat you like the most important person and butter you up and down when they need something from you or there is something they want that you can provide but the moment their need gets fulfilled or they find out that you won't or can't provide them what they want, you become garbage in their eyes...
Yup, you guessed it. I am talking about Ishwari.
If I just started to watch the show yesterday, the episode would have melt my heart.
What is more endearing than a mother-in-law pampering her daughter-in-law, in-laws having a meal and joking together like Sooraj Barjatya family, husband coming home and romancing wifey in private while the family snicker downstairs imagining what they are up to and progressively going gutter mind?
But it was a mirage. Nothing seemed real to me.
The emotions seemed fake, the love was a lie and the happiness tainted with heartbreak.
The love which binds with a million strings of condition instead of setting you free, is it worth anything?
We say blood ties are strongest. But if you ask me, I will take unconditional love from a friend not related by blood over conditional love from a blood relative any day.
Which brings me to Neha.
Neha came to stay at Ishwari Niwas believing a promise from her mother that she will be kept on her palken and Ishwari will make up for all the neglect inflicted on her since childhood.
Yesterday, she was happy about the news. But when she saw her mother showering the pampering which she usually reserves only for Dev, she didn't like it. Over the time, she got trained to force herself to be okay with Ishwari's over the top addiction to Dev and not ever showering even one percent of the same attention to her three daughters combined.
But she has never seen Ishwari treating a woman so well the way she is treating Sonakshi and again, she is watching from outside. I was feeling pity for her. I wish I could tell her that even now, Ishwari is pampering Dev's child, which she thinks is in Sonakshi. It's like if we think that Santa got us something spectacular in a Christmas gift wrapped in dazzling papers with a floppy bow, how protective we get of the box? It might have a pencil in it. But as long as we think that our heart's desire is in the box, we don't let anyone bump into it or bruise it. That's precisely the same thing.
The question is that when Sona finds out how worthless that conditional love was from her dear mother-in-law, will she be able to tolerate the pain on top of her own heartbreak? Will the lesson "All that glitters isn't Gold" will be hard to digest then?

Today Bijoy tells Asha and Ishwari tells Dev that she become mother from Saas.
No you guys, she didn't become mother.
A mother loves her children unconditionally. That's the only pure ans selfless love in the world.
What Ishwari became is a fake-mother from saas which won't take long to disappear.
On the other hand, Dev chooses to believe his mother and tear up the report. Of course mother is always right.
Ishwari asks Dev to take care of Sona (only until delivery and not a moment after).
Dev on the other hand is shocked that his mother is showering love on a woman. It's a very rare occurrence like sighting of Dodo bird.
Dev here thinks like all rational being Sona must have done tests before announcing everything. So asked when did she do test?
Sona said that the diagnostics were done by the Goddess herself.
That gets Dev worried enough to suggest doing test the next day. If I were you Dev, I will also book an appointment with a psychiatrist. Sona needs to get her head checked before her pregnancy checked.
Riya today stole the show with her dialogue, "There are many advantages of being pregnant."
A girl who never got her mother's attention for being a girl, learned the lesson that the only way to get it is to get pregnant.
A daughter-in-law who always had to fight to be part of her own husband's family was finally treated as a cherished member because they thought she was pregnant.
So if after all these, a woman can go to any length to get pregnant and barring that wants to commit suicide/leave her husband or take some other wrong step, can we blame her? Is this a woman's worth?
Congratulations CV, if you wanted to reduce a woman's worth to her fertile womb and make every unmarried and married woman believe that the only way to get love and approval from in-laws is to get pregnant while reducing the respect and dignity of those woman who can't or don't want to be a mother, you have succeeded. There is a thing called social responsibility, which obviously a foreign concept for you.

Dev makes a bargain with God that if Sona is really pregnant and the previous report turns out to be wrong, he will believe in him.
If that happens, Dev darling, how would CVs humiliate a woman? They need an excuse na to reduce female lead to a pathetic being who only gets pity? Torture/humiliate/insult woman in victim mode = TRP. Don't you know the formula?
