Here's welcoming all those who decided to have a look, to Nostalgia Unfolding #3! 😊

In this thread today, we begin with the Shaahi Shaadi Saptah. 😳 On to the muh dikhaai scene first! ⭐️

My favorite BGM from the show is being played at the beginning of this scene. That changes to Inn Aankhon mein tum instrumental as Jodha enters.

"Jodha ka har badhta kadam... use uske bhavishya ki or le ja raha tha... ab uski zindagi uss raah par badh rahi thi, jis par chalne ki usne kalpana bhi nahi ki thi..."
"Every step ahead by Jodha... was directing her towards her future... her life was now moving on a path she had never imagined she would tread..."

Now Jallu is busy staring at her even when she hasn't removed the veil. 😆

Ishq Hai Woh Ehsaas music and the water-darshan... hayye! I liked the water muh dikhai... reminded us and both of them of the pehla deedaar. 😳😆

Meanwhile, Jallu keeps that sly grin on for almost whole of the scene. 😆

I don't know what kind of a face Jo darling expected the water to reflect, but the one she saw there sure wasn't on the list. 😆

As lines of worry slowly appear, she is taken back to the gangaur day, the day of the pehla deedaar of this mysterious stranger.

Disturbed by the realization of who this might be, she takes a step back - only to be ushered back again by her dear Maasa.

But Jalal is clearly enjoying all this... 😆

"Subhanallah... badi fursat se banaya hai khuda ne tumhe..."
"God sure has crafted you with much finesse..."

And then come the tezz hawaayein... 😆... removing Jodha's veil and letting both of them have a good look at their to-be partners. 😆

Just look at that wide smile Jalal gives at that... lol 😆

As the realization of what actually is happening sets in, the flashbacks of the hatred she had for this man roam through her troubled mind.

She keeps looking at him for a few moments first, probably not able to believe the truth, and then shifts her eyes to look at those she had trusted - only to be subjected to disappointment.

Not able to bear the burden of the looming doom and also his piercing gaze, she deems it best to get away first.

And Jalal has a nice laugh watching her retreat.

That ends the muh dikhai, and move on to the spectacular shart scene! ⭐️

The scene starts with Jalal walking into the khema in which the meeting has to take place. A curtain is present there - a curtain which practically is of no use owing to its almost 100% transparency. 😆

The music turns softer as Jodha enters, but the atmosphere is burning already. 😉

Amidst the ever-beautiful Inn Aankhon mein tum music... we have Jalal's eyes fixed on hers, while she tries hard not to look at him.

"Aapne humse mulaqat ka paigam bheja... farmaiye!"
"You had sent a message to meet me... go on!"

As that last word 'farmaiye' escapes his lips, you could see that sly smile of his taking position. How can Jalal even exist without it? 😆

"Nikaah se pehle aap humse kya baat karna chaahti hain?"
"What do you want to talk about before the wedding?"

By this time, her gaze is fixed in front, and face is almost stony. For once, you can't make out what the girl is up to.

"Vivaah se pehle, hum aapke saamne do shartein rakhna chaahte hain."
"Before the marriage, I want to keep two conditions before you."

The above words is so calmly yet firmly said that the effect of it is doubled. The BGM changes according to the changed circumstances as we are made to look at the shocked faces of those present.

"Pehli, vivaah ke baad, hum apna dharm, nahi badlenge."
"First, that I won't change my religion after marrying you."

Jalal's expressions gradually change as she completes her sentence... and with that murderous look already there, he says :

"Aur doosri?"
"And the second one?"

Not exactly the time to bring this up, but she definitely looks like a beautiful painting at this moment - love her!

"Humare saath, humare Kaanha bhi Agra aayenge... wahaan par vidhivat, unki sthaapana hogi... unka mandir banega... "
"My lord will also come with me to Agra... and he would get a proper placement in a temple there..."

And bang, there that final nail in the coffin! So we have both the parties standing up - Jodha party in shock and Jalal party in bewildered rage. 😆

As the angry young man Jallu strolls to and fro, giving death glares to Jodha, hints of a victorious smile are visible on her face. It is this which acts as a dead giveaway to him!

He stops in his tracks, fixes his fiery eyes on her, with the weather of his face changing every second.

"Aapki shartein bohot badi hain shehzadi... par itni badi nahi, ki Hindustan ka shehenshah Jalal-ud-din, unhe poora na kar sake..."
"Your conditions are really big princess, but not so much as the Emperor of Hindustan cannot fulfill..."

By the end of the statement, the tables have already turned over. The victorious grin has flown over to Jalal, while the calm composure Jodha had maintained from so long slowly fades away.

The best part of it is, while these two have played an entire game in the few minutes allotted to them, the two parties have maintained their stand from the beginning - of utter confusion. 😆

The instrumental Ishq Hai Woh Ehsaas plays through as Jalal takes his seat, all content, followed by the two parties.

Jodha is still trying to take the harsh reality in... when some words force her to look up and straight at him :

"Humein aapki dono shartein manzoor hain..."
"I accept both your conditions..."

A wave of smiles sweeps through the Jodha party, mainly induced by Jallu himself. 😆

And that last, parting aadaab that he gives especially to a visibly shattered Jodha... Ufff!! I love all his aadaabs though, but could not enjoy this one that much coz my Jo was crying. 😔😛

Now when I think of it, this scene wasn't a romantic one, they weren't even together. But the intensity of the chemistry... my God! Simple eye-locks can be so magical!

Nowadays something strange is happening with me. I suddenly discovered that I am falling in love with Jodha Akbar in every passing day. 😆 No seriously, I did not use to love this so much when it was on air, rather I often used to become irritated with the nagging tracks and all... But now with the good memories of the show, it makes me nostalgic now and often; and I go to YouTube and discover how much beautiful the show was despite all its flaws and loopholes. 😳

However, your beautiful thread full of nostalgia helps to cherish those golden days... Especially this particular track- this Shaahi Shaadi was something that raised the show to it's pick! Just look back to those episodes, look at the scenarios, the faces and the ambiance throughout; a lot of melodramatic sequence- but never failed to show the royalty... I can't say it was beyond perfect and all time best, but at least it succeeded to recreate the majestic aura all around almost aptly! 😳

Go back to the Muh-Dikhai scene, the shart scene...really electrifying! Well directed, well shot, and one can really feel the spark flowing between the leads! The story itself had a great charm, and the whole team worked hard to utilize that charm in a fruitful manner and presented the whole thing so beautifully in front of us that these have become memories...❤️

Thank you so much Shagun for recreating that aura with your beautiful words here...😳 I could relish those days again through this thread!

wonderful thread shagun...👏truly nostalgic akdha d shaadi saptah was d best as even der mere presence onscreen created sizzling chemistry 😳 no need of touchy moments der just look and d screen is on fire❤️really miss dm😭...thnz fr making dis thread😳
