Welcoming all AkDhians to the very first installment of Nostalgia Unfolding! 🤗
Let us drift back to the 18th of June, 2013, a day which marked the beginning of a show which was destined to rule hearts for eternity. ❤️
As our screens are filled with the beautiful JA music and with the scenes from Agra Fort, we are gradually introduced to the place where it all began - Akbar's Tomb. 😳
As the music changes to a softer and lovelier one, Jalal's voice rings in our ears - a voice so soothing, it instantly seeps into the heart.
"Jodha... Yahaan kya kar rahi ho?"
"Jodha...What are you doing here?"
The way he said Jodha had me bowled over. God, it was so dreamy!
We are then introduced to the soul of Jodha, who in an even melodious voice replies to his question. 😳
"Aapko dekhne aaye hain..."
"I have come to see you..."
Uff...love is definitely all over! ❤️
Then comes the best part of the entire soul-talk - my absolute favorite. ❤️ Jalal replies with the sweetness of sugar in his mesmerizing voice,
"Par tum toh khud ko aaine mein dekh rahi ho..."
"But you're seeing your own mirror image..."
Gosh! This line has an undeniable effect on me...Uff! The meaning of this very deep line itself is quite fascinating. It is true how these two are just reflections of each other - one and the same. ❤️
With this statement, we can now see the two loving souls standing beside each other, lighting our screens with the glow of pure, eternal love. ❤️
The music which follows is the one which I loved the most among all of JA's tunes. It has the royal feel, and also the soft love that so fits AkDha. ❤️
As the first morning rays descend through the Jharokha, we see Jodha slightly holding the edge of her chunni, most probably as a reaction to Jalal's previous statement, and hurrying off to her own destination. And Jalal, not wanting so, questions her...
"Arrey...Arrey, kahaan ja rahi ho?"
"Where are you going?"
She halts at the window glowing with the sun rays, and looks out to the world ahead.
"Dekho...subah ho gayi...log aate hi honge...humare maqbare ko dekhne...log aayenge...humari mohabbat ko yaad karenge...koi humari mohabbat ki dataan sunayega...toh koi sunega..."
"See...It's morning now...people must be coming...to see our tomb...people will come...and remember our love...some will tell the story of our love...and some will listen..."
As she begins telling him the situation in the earthly world, the music changes again, this time one we didn't hear again on the show, except for some soul-talks maybe. As she starts with how people would come and talk of their love, the screens are filled with the soft and mesmerizing female tune of Inn Aankhon Mein Tum. ❤️
The soul of Jodha continues...
"Chaar sau saal guzar gaye...Inn chaar sau saalon mein, sab kuchh kitna badal gaya na...Zindagi jeene ka tareeka bhi badal gaya..."
"Four hundred years have passed...During these years everything has changed right? Even the way to live life has changed..."
As she reflects on how the world has changed so much in the last four-hundred years, we see the Ameri tune floating in the background. This is also one of my favorite lines from this soul-talk. It is quite interesting to think of how the people of those days would perceive today's lifestyle. I am glad that makers included this part, it brought with it a touch of reality, and a sense of connection of these two with us, the people of today! ❤️😳
Just as Jodha completes her line, we hear Jalal...
"Par Jodha Akbar ki mohabbat ki dastaan nahi badli...ye suraj nahi badla jo uss dastaan ka gawaah hai..."
"But the story of Jodha-Akbar's love hasn't changed...this sun who's the witness to that story hasn't changed..."
With a sense of pride he utters the first few words, and the music again changes to a rhythmic one, the two of them now gradually come a bit closer, and Jalal continues...
"Chaar sau saal baad bhi log humari mohabbat ki baatein karte hain...par asal mein kya hua ye toh sirf aap aur hum hi jaante hain..." ❤️
"Four hundred years later also people talk about our love...but what really happened is know only by you and me..." ❤️
I loved that connection with sun part. And it is actually so that I remember these two whenever I see the sun, it always strikes me that my AkDha had also seen the same sun that I am watching today. How fascinating is the thought!
And to tell you, Jalal, people don't just talk about you two, ones like me simply adore you both together!!! ❤️
And it is of course you both who know what actually happened, wish I could know that too! 😆
The two souls now join hands...as Jalal moves back to the days of the young Jalal, a cruel, heartless person.
"Jab hum sirf Jalal the...woh Jalal, jo ek hi rang jaanta tha, ek hi rang samajhta tha, ek hi rang bahata tha...khoon ka rang..."
"When I was only Jalal...the Jalal, who knew only one color, who understood only one color, and who flowed only one color...the color of blood..."
The music has already changed to the royal Jalal tune by the time he finishes. And as the joined hands disappear to the front, we are taken back into time to meet the very Jalal our Jalal has just now spoken about! 😳
As the same tune continues, we successfully travel back to 450 years ago...😳
Overall, a heavenly scene, with love oozing out...and the feel of love through ages all over us! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
