Gone are the days you would watch movies for entertainment. Now you watch (or dont watch) movies to prove a point. There was a famous dialouge that a movie runs due to three factors - Entertainment, Entertainment, Entertainment. But apparently that is no more now. Vote what do you think. 😉

Don't know about others but no one makes me do anything. I watch a film if I want to.

In 2016 I've only see sultan 😳 Kapoor and sons ⭐️ ADHM BBD 😕 Fan airlift 😊 and a few minutes of mohenjdaro 😭 😛

I just wish the concept of promotions & publicity of a movie -- vanish in thin air.

Teaser is coming

Trailer ka teaser is coming

song ka teaser is coming

then actual song is coming

actual trailer is coming

n everything has launch events.

Gaah. Stop it. stfu. Focus on quality of movie. 🥱

It just takes away the fun of not knowing what to expect.

I think there arevstill full-on entertainment movies like Main Tera Hero, HSKD, SOTY, entertainment, Welcomeback and some grand masti type of movies.

Personally I like both thoughtful and full on entertainment movies.

I actually liked Tees maar khan..while watching I was ROFLing..

I hate those which try to give a message but end up being pretentious and vulgar wannabe "sex comedy" movies.

Fortunately, there are still entertaining movies made in Bollywood but everyone has a different taste with regards to what entertains them.

Entertainment has gone from films... 90's had it, partially 2000-09 had it, now it's a Scientific experiment race going on, make a quality film or else face backlash 😆

This year i watched Baaghi, Sultan, for obvoius reasons, but out of all the released films, the ones i wanted to or wait for release were very few... Fan, HF3, Shivaay... Ajeeb hi khichadi paka di films ki... u promote something else, make something else, nikal ke aati hai film kuch aur...

I need my entertainment back... Full 2 hrs, leave my brain at home films... koi exam thodi ne lene jaana hai ke QUALITY ke marks do film ko... a film which makes u forget real life for 2 hrs is worth my money.

Why will anyone watch a movie to prove a point?

Entertainment doesn't always equate to masala, slapstick comedy, or item songs. One can get entertained by watching good acting or a good story unfolding on screen.

i try to balance things. while I enjoy good well made quality movie with message and slice of life materials, but I would rather watch a PK or 3 idiots or Bajrangi Bhaijaan or Chennai Express over Pink, Airlift, Neerja in my bore time. Thankfully this year Sultan was there which fully satisfied my mass side.
