I haven't watched the movie. So I genuinely want to know what made it a disaster! Was it the script or story or something else! I had watched the trailer btw but didn't like it.

And no RK-RS blah blah please 😃

Just enlighten me with your opinion about the the movie 😃😳

The Mumbaiya dialect used in the movie. I just could not understand why KJO was a don and Johnny Balraj wanted to become powerful. Why Anu was so horrible in the movie.

Shitty shitty storytelling
Budget being spent more on the sets and utterly useless crap like some stupid millions worth Tommy guns by AK and not paying attention to what was actually important
Shoddy editing - ther was no rhyme or reason for the way scene to scene cuts were done and put together
Not knowing what to tell through the story and ending up making a kichdi out of it

It's a pure example when few critics supported by media spread fake image of few films to be THE BEST & then some blind corporate ppl invest money on that created image.

Result comes: DISASTER

Anurag Kashyap's work, Ranbir's Barfi, Kjo - All publicized like THE BEST out here... while Audience didn't even went to see Bombay Velvet, ignoring all that publicized previous work...

Shows got cancelled 🤣

Anurag didn't stick to his original plan. He was supposed to us how Mumbai was built but instead we got to see Ranbir and Anushka's love story.

I feel he should have had more lead characters and done this movie in two even three installements.
