Sajini, i write this from my heart. I will use man / woman interchangeably to drive home my message for all who are facing the so called challenge called infertility.
It was GOD's plan for man to enjoy of GOD's creation, multiply, fill the earth to the remotest part. All that GOD wanted in return was complete dependency on HIM out of man's own volition and set the ONE and ONLY condition that man would have ever known and that was to NOT to eat of the fruit of GOOD and EVIL. Unfortunately, it was man in his rebellious ways who brought upon himself misery, labor and death by opting to violate the ONE and ONLY condition put by GOD. In so doing, man became like GOD in most ways and therefore had the gumption to move away from a dependency on GOD to a dependency on self. Therefore, Today's man, seems to discern between what is good and what is evil and has set up his own kingdom that we very loosely call SOCIETY and NORMS.
The first human beings were naked.. after they got the power to discern good and evil, they clothed themselves with leaves. GOD asked them - WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU ARE NAKED? Then GOD followed it up by providing clothes for man. It is a deep question that answers all questions that any one may have. In the case of any one having this challenge, please imagine GOD asking you - WHO TOLD YOU THAT YOU ARE INFERTILE?
In GOD's divine plan, all that matters is LIFE. it is never a question of who (which physical body) brings forth that life and who it belongs to. The fact is all life belongs to GOD. it is we, as people, who need to see and accept this fact. The next most important thing to keep in mind is GOD is LOVE. It is clearly said that he who has love has GOD. I am not talking of that romance wala love. This love is something deep and that comes from within that warms up and lights up your innermost being. LOVE and LIFE are two sides of the marvelous GOD.
A womb that is infertile can be made fertile by miracles brought about by GOD or even by artificial means but a heart that is infertile is devoid of love and is akin to being dead. So do not worry about the womb, worry more about your heart. I would say, let your heart speak and follow your heart and never say to yourself that you are infertile.
Every child is priceless and nothing can be better put than in these words - suffer ye not these little ones to come unto me for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. If the LORD himself took little ones to himself, who are we but to follow? No slave can be above his master. if the master is doing it, so can we as slaves.
There are so many millions of children who are in urgent need of parent hood.Give one a heart ( the home follows automatically) and see how love and hope springs. I have seen strong faith families opening their hearts to love and have adopted children, borne by somebody else as their very own. (my own grandfather was an adopted son to a German missionary family.. way back in the late 1800's)
Finally, it really does not matter how many children has one borne or not borne. If your life can make that difference to the life of someone else, your purpose has been achieved. We are not on this earth to be gauged by what we produce or do not produce in body. We are here to be gauged by what we produce in spirit.. love, patience, peace, joy, goodness, kindness, gentleness, understanding, self control.
