Oh this woman is insufferable! I know Shivika is meant to be and all that but lets just forget that for a moment shall we? What the hell is nayi soch here? What the hell did I just see ? This woman is forcing her grandson into a marriage he doesn't want. I cant believe Ishqbaaaz is giving us a lecture on Mangalsutra and vachan and sindoor and all that. For God sake where is the most important thing in a relationship, the consent?? You cannot bloody force someone to accept a marriage they don't want. At least don't try to force Shivaay cause I have doubts about Anika (She didn't remove the mangalsutra). Dadi is basically saying that Shivika should stay married because "yeh janmon ka...bandhan hai" *slow claps*. Woman you are basically saying that you will accept your daughter's marriage against her wishes even to a rapist because Shaddi "janmon ka...bandhan hai". Give me one valid sensible reason woman.

I think I am just disappointed that IB actually chose to show a majboori ka shaddi. It is the most regressive thing on TV and I never expected it from a modern show like IB. That being said my friends, God forbid, if something like this happens in your family, never force the couple into the rishta for family's reputation or because Shaddi is janmon ka bandhan. Please let them decide by themselves, because TV aur real life mei farak hai. Kya pata, you might be ruining two lives.

This is sickening on a whole new level. This Dadi character has been annoying me for a while with her stupid ishqbaazi rants but this is just the tip of the iceberg. She is so selfish that for her own ulterior motive of getting Annika as her Billu's wife she stoops this low. Don't get me started on the dialogues. Most (actually all of it) looks stolen from '60s-'70s Bollywood films. 😳 Except maybe some of those films were more progressive than the crap being shown here in 2016.

I never liked Dadi's character TBH it's a pain for me, especially her biased nature and stupid takkar ki Ishaqbaazi crap. And today's ek chutki sindoor, mangalsutra annoyed me to such a extent that I want Dadi to die yes I may sound mean but seriously this character is as useless as gayatri for me. God knows what she wants to do with his grandsons lives by forcing. And in the upcoming segment her taunt to jhanvi too. She has no right to take Svetlana name and taunt when she herself knows the sensitivity of the matter.

Ok I will stop here warna kuch aur bhol dhoongi. Bang on post Lachu. Much needed and seriously hats off to the writers for character butchering of the characters

excellent post. regressive indeed. I now wonder how will love bloom out of all this?? I am unable to relate myself with this track and the characters.

I never expected IB to promote such regressive stuff.
For God sake it's her grandson's life.She is forcing her decisions on Him.She wants them to live together just because of mangalsutra Sindoor and sath Vachan? A marriage is a relationship between two souls. Materialism can't bind it.
When two people doesn't want to accept a marriage why the hell is she forcing them? Is it her life?No.It's Shivaay's.
Forcing someone in a relationship is Horrible that to because of Sindoor and mangalsutra.

If I hear anymore of thise shaadi, saat phere, mangalsutra, sindoor dialogues from any characters I will vomit.

You know what bugs me. I have a maid who is about 21 has left her husband because he had a wife earlier. She told me that she would not live with him despite him giving her a comfortable life. I can live alone with dignity she said and I can't admire her enough. A girl who has nothing and has to earn her living by being domestic help can have such thoughts then why a show like IB is passing such regressive messages. Sorry to say even Doordarshan is more progressive than this
