Why is Anu forgotten in the race of best actress?

Why? I think she did way better in ADHM than Sonam in Neerja and Alia is her films.

I really hope she walks away with the best actress

If your director doesn't think you can be in the race of best actress then why should others remember you?

For me though Alia in UP was far far far better than Anu in ADHM..Haven't seen Sultan

After watching DZ i think Alia deserves it n as for Anu there was nothing worth appreciating in that character Alizeh solely my pov lame movie n ott character!

Anuksha is always the pretty face in movie. In ADHM I felt she was the only the love interest of Ranbir. Even the director and the media did not valued her. All I heard about Ash and Ranbir's pairing or Fawad Khan.

In Sultan the entire story was around Salman. Anu was in few scenes.

If the movie or the promotion does not revolves around the female lead at all then forget the Best actress.

Alia, Deepika and Kangana are way smarter than Anu in this perspective.

i have yet to watch sultan, but in ADHM I didn't like her at all when she had to say those filmy dialogues. in some of the serious scenes i liked her, but those filmy dialogues were

She is not.

Jitesh Pillai loved Anu and Ranbir in ADHM. Check his tweets. I am pretty sure she will be nominated for best actress category.

This year the war is between, Sonam, Anushka, Alia and Vidya.

If K2 is not horribly bad, Vidya will walk away with all the awards.

Out of all her movies i liked sultan's Aarfa...she emoted well in that when compared to her other movies..and nothing extraordinary in ADHM..hope she get nominated for Aarfa and wins..
