I have read all the view of the IFians and feel all are having different views, but I feel the speech of Ishwari was more sensible.
I felt that speech was necessary for every woman who come into the husband house, no women should think that they have sold their son/or given to their wife. A woman is coming into the family and she should not snatch away their son.
Even I have seen when a man gets married, he will not try share his feelings to his mother, he will give most of the time to his wife which will create insecurity feelings towards a mother especially a single mother.
And also Ishwari told that being in the house it will be like Vanavass, yet it is right, when you are not included in the family discussions or anything else, the feeling of unwanted arise.
These are all the problems faced by the old parents, you have to consider the sentiments of old people
And calling Mama's body by Sona was not right that too often, even I was irked by that statement.
Shaheer really cried - I agree, if you take the words of Ishwari into heart everyone can feel the same.
Sorry for this post, if has hurt others, but it was a mirror to the feeling of a mother and I AGREE.
Even I am a mother of two sons, I also feel the same, putting myself into into Ishwari's shoes even I cried not only Shaheer even Suma
