Did Shraddha Kapoor lose out on Golmaal 4 for demanding a higher fee?

Actress Parineeti Chopra will be the leading lady in Golmaal 4 and the announcement was made recently by the makers. Though Shraddha Kapoor was also considered for the role, but she lost the opportunity to star opposite Ajay Devgn. Any idea why?

As per a popular entertainment magazine, the Rock On 2 star quoted a fee considerably higher than the makers were willing to pay. Reportedly, Shraddha asked for Rs 1.5 crore to appear in Golmaal 4. but the makers said they couldn't pay her more than Rs 1 crore. It is being said that Shraddha asked for a day to think about it before she could make a decision. This attitude of Shraddha prompted Ajay and Rohit (Shetty) to seek for another actress. That's when Parineeti Chopra stepped in.

Parineeti, who's been shooting Meri Pyaari Bindu, had been seeking out for a comedy, and Golmaal 4 seemed to fit right into her plans. Plus, as per trade sources, her project with Sushant Singh Rajput, Takadum, has been indefinitely postponed, giving her much-needed free dates.

So we can say, Shraddha's loss - over money - became Parineeti's gain!?
