From Anita to Natasha to Natassha, Balaji's favourite girl is now an unwed mother in Koi Aap Sa and hopes that her newly acquired name will have a positive influence on the box office.
Are you happy with the response that your new film Koi Aap Sa has received?
I think the response is good considering the fact that the subject is very bold. As you may know, the film is about campus life that underlines that friends may not be lovers but lovers have to be friends. The film has been made under the Balaji banner.
Would you describe your role as hot and glamorous?
Not really hot. But yes, the role does have a lot of glamour. I play a teenager who changes from being a bubbly, carefree person in the first half of the film to someone more serious towards the end. It was a very challenging role and sensitive subject to deal with.
You have added an extra 's' to your name of late and call yourself Natassha. Why?
Actually it was Ektaji (Kapoor) who did it. Natasha is not my real name. She changed my name from Anita to Natasha and then added one more 's'. She says it gives more zing to my name and is also numerically correct.
Has the new name helped?
Look, it's a matter of faith. I believe it has helped a lot. I am sure it will help in future too. I am sure about that. At least it makes me far more confident than before.
How do you keep yourself looking so hot and glamorous?
I am very strict about my workout at the gym and at the same I am also very selective about what I eat.
Natz doesnt need any extra s's to make her name zingy!!
she is already supercool!😛
