Right now the 'why', 'how', 'what' does not matter. We wanted a ShivIka wedding and we got it.

I remember distinctly being relieved when Aarnav married Khushi even though it was unbearable to see how much pain the two of them were going through then. But at least they shared that pain - it was not like one was happy and the other sad. Besides, whether Aarnav was disgusted with Khushi or not, Aarnav's presence in Khushi's life gave her the much needed safety and protection from Shyam. Her own family with 2 older women and a sick father could not have done much. Being with Aarnav gave her the much needed shield she so desperately needed and she had others, NK especially, to watch over her as well.

I see the same case with Aanika. Yes she is independent, strong and a self-made girl but what Daksh is doing to her is not what a average girl living alone in Mumbai faces on an everyday basis. Annika knows how to deal with a hard life full of struggles but to deal with a maniac who is to the point of being physically abusive is a little too much for an unsuspecting naive girl to take on. Also we must remember this orphan is probably only 24-25 years old at the most. We all know how protective Om, Rudra and Soumya too are of Annika. She will at least have them around even if Shivvay is cold and insulting in the first few weeks. Besides, angry or not, I do not think Shivvay shares Annika very well. Now that she is his wife, even if it is for a contract period, I think he will make sure Daksh stays away from her.

I understand the MU about the ONS is not what most of us wanted the marriage to start with- me included and I am waiting eagerly for next week to rip SSO apart but for now I still give him the benefit of doubt as I had promised. But I also know the deeper Shivvay digs this hole of prejudice he is sitting in the better because the greater the penance and redemption from his end. I can assure you that when the redemption track unfolds Om, Rudra and Dadi are going to back Annika 100% and hopefully by then the rest of the Oberoi's as well. The MU is just laying the foundation of the bigger redemption that needs to follow about accepting Annika for who she is - someone with no high class lineage and family background.

I even suspect that she is one of the the illegitimate children of a very wealthy and royal house and we all know what Shivvay did to Mr. Chabra with respect to Dev. This will be a very bitter pill, if it is true, for Shivvay to swollow.

Anyways, for now I am going to sit back and enjoy this 'khichdi' that Ms. Gul has cooked up and make a little 'raita' to go with it while I bear and grin through the next few episodes. Then I am going to order the 'jalebi's' (not laced with poison of course) and enjoy Annika driving SSO up the wall with her many antics at the OM.
If Shivvay was a smart man he would have let Daksh deal with Annika as a wife - I promise you Daksh would walk into the asylum himself and beg to be admitted after a month of marriage to the Annika Surname Mein Kya Hai wildcat 🤣🤣

After reading the TC article I was hoping that you come up with a post and after reading your post I feel a lot better, because I agree with you said. Whatever the circumstances are which leads to their wedding, being married to Shivaay is a much better option as compared to being alone and being stalked day and night.

Like you said struggling with everyday hardships is one thing, but dealing with a stalker who came very close to almost killing her last time is another thing. Also she doesn't live on her own, she has Sahil to think because she can't endanger his life at any cost. I think that is why she decided to apply for loan so she can send him to boarding school, where he will be safe away from her.

I have my doubts that Shivaay will reveal that it's Anika under the veil and he has married her.

I still feel that post wedding any of the Oberoi's will be aware of them being hubby and wife.

Threat of Tia and Daksh back also looms large with Tia accusing Anika for her delay to come to the wedding and Daksh weaving some more web of lies and to top it all Shivaay believing all of it.

I don't see Anika staying at OM because of the above, since her job is done with the wedding over and Shivika hiding the truth of marriage.

I don't know how do the CVS plan the future track.

The Veil, as I mentioned in my other post, could be so that he does not have a full blown war from the Oberoi family on his hands. Just imagine that they are aware he is FORCING Annika AGAINST HER WISHES to marry him what do you think EACH of their reactions is going to be. Go down the line of the Oberoi family starting with Dadi and Om and figure it out for yourself. He does not have the luxury of time to explain "why" right now so he is doing what he always does best - makes a decision without consulting and does 'Damage Control'.
It was HE who fast forwarded the wedding so the onus of clearing this mess is on him.

I would be shocked if he is able to pull off the fact that he married Tia not Annika and also keep his conscience clear after he does that. He DOES have to lie to his whole family for that and whether he agrees or not, the fact is that he will be having more ONS with Tia than Annika had with Daksh, if anyone is keeping score 🤣🤣
So if we are going to start pointing fingers then lets pull up the score board to keep them straight. Man or woman - rules are the same as far as I am concerned especially if the rules have been laid by HIM. (I promised I would rip him to pieces and trust me I have just begun)

For him to move ahead with the false marriage with Tia he would not only have to ask Annika for a divorce but would have to also marry Tia in private. That is a lot to hide from your family - again. Besides with his own admittance 'The Oberoi's do not DIVORCE',they grit and gnash their teeth and put up with it but will not leave their spouses. We all know how much his traditions and his family name means to this man. So a contract marriage will also be a shock to me. Again, HE was the one to point out the rules to Om so I can see Om questioning him on that.

As far as Ms. Gul's track record goes she loves to have both ML & FL together so that the redemption track proceeds. Tia and Daksh are just catalysts not the end result in ShivIka forming as one unit. Sure the journey for any relationship with two very strong and opinionated individuals is painful and hard but that is what it takes for true gold to be extracted from the ore. Tia and Daksh are needed for Shivvay's first wall of prejudices to fall. They are both from the world Shivvay is so proud to be from. As they say - the higher you rise the harder you fall.

Correct. The bigger the MU, the larger the redemption and the deeper the guilt. So, I've my plate in front of me, ready to devour the khichdi-raita GK has so lovingy prepared.😆

Also, after today's episode, I am not blaming Shivaay for thinking ool-julool of Annika. Daksh is indeed a genius, the way he did all this, Shivaay had to believe. Plus, his beliefs etc helped a lot too to think so low of Annika. 👍🏼

Absolutely, he is after all a man. We cannot expect him to be more than any other red (oops! blue I mean) blooded , flesh and bones man would be. He is also a man madly in love who is still battling his inner demons - Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
Dr. Jekyll wants to believe that she is the stereotype middle class girl and that his life long belief has been correct
Mr. Hyde thinks with his heart and wants to place Annika on that pedestal that he has so lovingly carved with his own thoughts
We need to let things take their course and good win over evil. Annika is blameless and spotless and that is her strongest weapon.
