Even i suspect Anika being an illegitimate child given her stunned reaction and repeated panning of camera on Anika face when she goes to talk it out with Shivay about Dev.

Mr Chambra parting words to Shivay that someday, he may have to regret his belief about legitimate/illegitimate relations.

Also, there have been subtle change in Anika expressions whenever her background is questioned as if she is withholding something.

Her outright repulsion towards using sir name is quite mysterious.

Edit: I sincerely hope that Anika distances herself from Daksh post wedding. Can't stand their touchy scenes 🤢

But after everything that happened today and after staying upset and sleeping over it, I have realized why I think the MU is going to stay.

The thing is Shivika marriage has to happen now as per the CV's.

But Shivaay had an open admiration and respect for Anika before so would never think of forcing a marriage on her because of the following reasons.

1. He respects her too much to be that cruel to her.

2. She is engaged to Daksh.

3. Even though he has feelings for her, he cannot accept her with her having no NKAK.

4. He is engaged to Tia.

So now, with this whole stupid MU, Shivaay who was always searching for reasons to suspect Ani before has got a ready made excuse to believe that his beliefs were all true and to hate Ani, more now than ever because it physically hurts him when she is behaving the way he thinks she is. Daksh's manipulation has succeeded in removing the first obstacle in the marriage.

The fact that Shivaay knows that Ani is just marrying or being with Daksh for money can make him not take DakNi engagement seriously. After all , he knows that Ani doesnt love Daksh!!

When Tia runs away from the mandap as the article predicted and he is desperate for a stand in and Ani is responsible for the girl (he has hired ) leaving, he is going to lose it. The desperation at the moment, combined with his rage and the fact that he now believes that she has loose morals will all culminate in the ultimate hate contract wedding ever, a concept that Gul adores.

So I have lost hope in Shivaay. He was truely a gem of a Gul hero but she had to turn him dark and the heroine into a scapegoat who is punished to wed him.

All I can hope for is that she is recognised as Anika Singh Oberoi after marriage and that Ani fights back like the Sherni she is instead of becoming a sobbing mess , a standard Gul heroine prototype.

P.s. I had my hopes up with the water splashing thing too but I somehow feel that it will be a last desperate attempt to make Silent Angry Singh Oberoi talk and doesn't have anything to do with the cleraing of the MU otherwise Shivaay would never force her into marrying him!!

I do hope everything I have said is wrong and will be extremely happy if it happened but if it doesn't, I will be prepared.

After reading the TC article I was hoping that you come up with a post and after reading your post I feel a lot better, because I agree with you said. Whatever the circumstances are which leads to their wedding, being married to Shivaay is a much better option as compared to being alone and being stalked day and night.

Like you said struggling with everyday hardships is one thing, but dealing with a stalker who came very close to almost killing her last time is another thing. Also she doesn't live on her own, she has Sahil to think because she can't endanger his life at any cost. I think that is why she decided to apply for loan so she can send him to boarding school, where he will be safe away from her.

Yes, the much awaited wedding is happening. All of us wish that it had been under better circumstances, but alas!

It was obvious that Shivaay's wedding had to do something with Tia. No matter what he felt about Anika, he was committed to Tia and would never ditch her unless she did something, or unless he figured out something about her.
Yes. Shivvay would never go back on his commitments in life and that is a trait that is constant in his character no matter what is thrown at him.
That is why I have hope that no matter what the circumstances he will honor his wedding vows with Annika - and also the fact that , even though he will not accept it, he is madly in love with that crazy bundle of antics and joy.

As much as we may try denying it, the USP of the show is Shivika's tashan, their tom and Jerry play, their back answers... with the changing equation in their relation, if it was a consent wedding, these parameters would have changed to embarrassment, discomfort, conscious of each other etc. if they had to main the USP of the show, there had to be something dramatic.
Yes, true. And I feel that is how a marriage should be. The partners need to be equal and meet life's challenges after they have overcome the ones between them. These have more because of their personalities. She is not going to take it lying down so get ready for the ride SSO 😆

As much as I dislike how it is playing out, I am guessing 2-3 episodes down the line, things will turn out to be good. I am willing to wait it out.

Think he must hurled the hateful accusation at her before he proposed to Anika. That is why she has such an expression of disbelief and sadness on her face. Though she loves him and has realized that.. the gadha singh O is yet to acknowledge it to himself.

Fight it out like a man and be brave to face the world with Anika as your wife. Both will not reveal the truth of their marriage to the others as they are intensely private. Have not let any of the family even have a whiff of their closeness apart from their hand holding. 😉
