The reason i said UN is to attact people...when ever i start a post with Udit Narayan name no one cares ...i guess people forgot this beautiful happy voice of bollywood ...do u miss him in this new digital bollywood music?

Yes, I love Udit Narayan's voice. He is still one of my favourite singers.

No!!!! Kumar Sanu is who i miss, he was the God of romantic songs.

i found udit more romantic 😉 even if u consider duet of udit and kumar ...udit out do kumar sanu in term of romance like hum yaar hain tumhare , or shaam bhi khoob hai or dil ka rishta

Udit was my fav growing up.

Mujhe Neend Na Aaye / Jadu Teri Nazar / Ho Gaya Hai Tujhko To Pyar Sajna / Dil To Pagal Hai / Kuch Kuch Hota Hai

I wish his son Aditya sang more songs, I only heard him on Ram-Leela soundtrack. They sound so similar!

Yes, very much so. He had such a distinctive, soulful voice.

I miss that whole era of music...the singers, the melodies and lyrics. The current state of bollywood music is just tragic..not to mention, I still can't tell most of the singers apart from one another.

He has such a unique voice..the songs I am remembering right now are deewana main chala(pyar kiya to darna Kya),aao na(kyun ho gaya na)and teri yaad humsafar subah o shaam(one of his best IMO)..list is endless ⭐️

Why do so many people feel this way? 😕

I've been hearing it for YEARS.

Every generation says this.

15 years ago, in the early 2000's people were saying "80s ke gaane bahut achche teh yaar" etc

And the generation before that believed late 60s was best, and so on...

The truth is:

1. The music we grow up listening to remains our "golden era" forever.

2. There has always been GREAT songs and TERRIBLE songs in every era.

When people grow older, the NOSTALGIA of the songs they heard in their youth overbears their ability to open up to new sounds. There really IS great music out there today, and LOTS of it.

My analysis. 😃
