Sony's new theme music triggered me to make this topic...are there any Ajay-Atul fans here?
They are one of those rare talented composers in Bollywood, I loved the entire album of Agneepath!
Also they are super versatile.
I do not understand Marathi, but I have started listening to all their Marathi songs- so melodious and soulful!
They are also one of those composers who use live instruments, or else nowadays everything is done on the computer.
I do recommend 'Lai Bhari' and 'Sairat'...but other than that please check out 'Natrang' and 'Jogwa' (they won the National Award for the latter, I think)
Please share your views😊

Me ... 😳
They have really have taken Marathi Industry a level up in Music Industry . Brought in a Raw Factor . Kind of Revolution in Music for Marathi industry .

They still haven't shown thir Magic in BW music , I feel . But did came up with some real gems Abhi Mujhmein kahin , Deva shree Ganesha , Sapna Jahaan ... being few . I also like Singham's theme music .

Hope they get more opportunity and very importantly get Inspired to compose good songs for BW.

Oh hey high five 😆
I had read an interview of some artist from the music industry who stated that Bollywood has alot of interference in music and there is a lack of budget...so I guess that does hamper the quality of songs if composers aren't given creative freedom...plus they don't seem like the kind of composers who will compromise on quality so budget constraint does become another problem
I'd post the link here if I would remember who it was but my memory naa 😆
Have you seen the video on YouTube where they have shown live recording of Sairat songs at Sony Studio USA? It gave me goosebumps!
Their music reminds me alot of Illyaraja and Anand-Milind...Sairat seemed like a tribute to Illyaraja and there is this Holi song from Lai Bhari where the arrangement of the song is very much like Anand-Milind's😳

Me, Me, Me... I am a big fan...esp being a marathi and listening to old beautiful marathi songs.
It was a pain to see not good marathi songs coming out . Till they entered and owned the whole marathi industry.

Kashi aahe tu? Mi bari aahe 😆
I am learning Marathi so this might not be perfect 😆
Sairat ke baad keedha laga mujhe 😆
Seriously how could Karan Johar not take them in more projects after Agneepath? Many people liked the soundtrack more than the film lol
Not to mention Agneepath won all the awards for soundtrack except Filmfare...seriously no nomination also
