Chef's counter was so far away even I wouldn't be able to follow. What is wrong with asking questions as they are not familiar with the dish like she is.

Even I agree, what's the harm in asking?
Although the other contestants & chefs on the balcony tried to help to keep up with the pace. Ajay wasted more of his time on getting his egg perfect which was a downfall for him.
