Yes husband and wife are two wheels of a cart. If the wheels do not go with the same speed or in the same direction, cart may not move or will cause accident.
When two people get married, they have to find the right balance with each other. One wheel has to know if the other is tired to go to fast or too slow or is the other happy to left or right.
What Dev and Sona are going through is not communicating in the right way about each other. Lovers think they know every thing about the other but staying with each other and accepting both sides of the family is completely different thing.
The mistake Dev did in the initial phase by assuming Sona will fine with all the changes is exactly what Sona is doing now. Neither Sona communicated the right way nor Dev is communicating now. Sona kept feeling that she is an outsider but only voiced it when nehas issue came in front and when she had the outburst she spoke more about the room and bed and colors etc. Instead of highlighting the actual issue of acceptance. Now Dev is scared to hurt her again and not communicating that Swing is right in between the pathway going to his side of bed, computer table, washroom or the wardrobe. He wants to adjust and sometimes forcing things causes only misunderstandings and fights. While Sona discussed with her baba about training Dev, Dev also discussed the same with his mom. I wish both would communicated on how its going and taking slow steps. But hey its not their faults all normal couples make such mistakes and learn.
Parents sometimes do things for their kids because they want contribute. Similar to the fact that did Sona cook when she was at hers no because she let her mum do it.
I am not saying what she is doing is wrong but both are correct and incorrect in their own way.
I was very annoyed since the dev Asha ma issue but then when I have cooled down I am looking forward to see how CVs are going to show Sona and Dev solve this. I still love this tele series so much because they are showing the nuances of married life with maximum reality as possible on television. Insecurties are inside most human beings only the levels vary so no character is perfect everyone is flawed and how do lives with these flaws ..how much we adjust..how much we change ..how much we accept the flaws is all that leads to striking the balance of the wheels of the cart running smoothly and in coordination.
