Hi Nyna,
My heart goes out to Sanskaar. I don't know why CV's are so hell bent on ruining such beautiful characters..
Got stuck yaar.. Even as I type, I am trying to proofread one last time and then will be updating.
Cheers
Sharon
Dear Sharon,
I read this as soon as you updated, but then when I first read it, I was upset, I will be frank. I knew that it would end with Swara being forgiven by Sanskaar, but I did not expect you would have him apologise to her. I did not comment because it would be a biased one.
Now when I read it again, I realise that Sanskaar is truly a gem - he had analysed where both he and Swara went wrong, and by admitting that he wrong to have asked her to change, he lets her know why and where she should change. Because loving unconditionally does not mean you do not ask the person you love to change, you have to if the person they love is hellbent on self destruction, you have to guide them back to the correct path even if it means hurting them. Swara had to realise that not trusting Sanskaar did and would continue to harm their relationship which would end up hurting her.
In a way, though in much lesser intensity, Ragini does the same, she decides to stick with Laksh but teach him what it is to truly love someone. And the best part, they learnt, both Swara and Laksh.
It was a perfect story, though I do like the other one too.
Best,
Nyna
PS - I loved the poetry in the line- 'A love that coloured you, burned you and raised you for your alternate soul.'
