Sharad Kelkar, who plays Nahar in Saat Phere, had met with a small mishap in his house and ended up spraining his knee tissue. Due to this his trip to Goa with wife Kirti was in jeopardy. But like a dutiful husband, he has kept his promise to Kirti and so will be going to Goa albeit with a fractured leg.
About his emotional decision, Sharad tells us, "I was feeling bad that all my fellow actor friends are enjoying and we are not so to get a smile on Kirti's face I said ok to her and so for one week I will be in Goa. So what if I'm not able to dance, I'll sit on the beach and enjoy my evening… Biwi Ko Bola Hai Toh Jaana Hai… (I gave my word to Kirti so I have to keep it). It was my wish to spend some relaxing time with my sweetheart. She is fine now so she will take care of my leg."
Are you taking any precautionary measures for your inured leg? "Of course. I'm taking all the medicines to avoid any complications. I had taken this decision with the consent of our family doctor. Professionally also I have shot for my bank episodes so I don't have any tension on that front."
