...did y'all feel sorry for Jai? And are we to assume he ended up rejecting the Cambridge offer then (at the end of the film)?

Like all the man wanted was to go to Cambridge for his career, the girl's dad pretty much coerced him into giving up THAT idea. I liked the whole concept of the film and what Jai ended up learning, but I still felt like he was emotionally manipulated into seeing the worst of his future, and therefore giving up his dream career in order to avoid it😕Perhaps because I just finished watching the movie literally a minute ago and haven't thought too hard about it, I might be missing something. But at the moment all I feel is pity for Jai😆

That aside I liked the movie :)

the dir was clueless and left it at viewers whether he was dreaming or really time traveled. I see it as him having a vision and the pandit showing him all that and it wasn't 10yrs it was 11yrs why did they mess that up?
he got multiple opportunities to fix things up and moral of the story is the cliche one, be with your family give them time, work comes later, yeah got it 😆

yeah he gave up Cambridge. that was the point of the movie - make sacrifice for your family else you'll not be happy in future

The work-life balance theme/lesson could have been handled in a more realistic manner.

I feel like it was a dream - that's how I interpreted it but I guess it's up to discussion.
