If any of you watched the latest segment where naithik and akshara are walking down the halls upstairs and talking and worrying about naira and her hiding something, they have finally started suspecting that naira is in love with karthik and may be sacrificing her love for gayu's happiness. But what shocked me was what naithik said.
He literally brushed the thought off by comparing gayu and naira by saying that naira is not like that and if it was gayu then she would sacrifice her love, but naira is strong and she would have fought with everyone. Wow. Just wow naithik. Is this really how much you love and know your daughter naira who you claim to love the most in this world?
In a way he is saying that gayu is more selfless whereas naira is strong-headed and thinks about herself. I agree that it is unlike a girl like naira to be a tyaag-ki-devi, but she isn't doing this out of mahaanta, but out of pressure and guilt from the family members constantly reminding her that gayu should not get hurt and hinting that if she does she may harm herself, forcing naira to keep her feelings hidden out of fear of being the reason for gayu getting hurt.
But it shocked me that he thinks so greatly of gayu and so lowly of naira. I agree that gayu is a good girl who thinks of others before herself, but she also has a lot of insecurities that are prone to make her selfish too, whereas naira has demonstrated on numerous occasions that she cares dearly for the people she loves. I really was mad at naithik for his comments in that segment. Really unacceptable!
