Of course she knows all that Dev has done. She knows him better than anyone else. Hence She knows the goodness he is capable of. From no angle has she been portrayed to be a dumb character. Her IQ and EQ are pretty high.

And suddenly she is perceived to be dumb for making a statement and mostly because it was misinterpreted.Misinterpretation can indeed cause much ado about nothing.

yes. normal people do. and yes, we can interpret the statement however we chose. but her expression of disbelief that accompanied is.. what I have an issue with. sonakshi's statement and the disbelief she expressed to RV's bhabhi earlier when she told them what Dev did... is the reason I take that statement as "out of character"!

Also, I never said Sonakshi is dumb. I said, I thought she was smarter than portraying shock & disbelief. I still think she has high EQ (really don't know about her IQ😉) and only one capable to helping Dev and Ishwari out of the "poverty trauma" they constantly live under. But, if she is delusional about who and what DeV is... I got a problem with that. Dev has demonstrated in the past he can be ruthless and cruel and can destroy people's career and livelihoods!!!!!

Dixits are always known to sideline their caring and concern for other person's existence and basic needs.
Parenting is obviously a main reason behind it.

Dev has no idea that what it looks like to be unfair to someone outside your family as his circle of concern is limited to his family only.
He has been conditioned by Ishwari all his life to become what he is today- A person dedicated to his family with no civic or moral sense or social ethics.

From last 29 years Ishwari has deeply inserted a thought into Dev's vulnerable mind that only their family is destined for happiness.
Whole world is obliged to them to help them in achieving what they want and anyone not doing so will deserve a punishment.

and so was Dev's outburst on Sona,Ritwik and now on Ranveer.

Dixits are not normal like us .They are special and Sona is getting a feel of it.

Just like Article 370 - Dixits have separate rule book, special autonomous laws by virtue of their tragic past. Most importantly THEY HAVE SEPARATE HUMAN RIGHTS AS WELL such that anyone can be treated inhuman by them in their own interest.

At this point I think Dixits should put a flag outside their Ishwari Niwas and Ishwari Dixit communications so that anyone entering it knows that he/she is entering into a special law zone
and what mess he/she is getting himself into.(JANHIT ME JAARI,issued in public interest😉)

It will be interesting to see now if Sona is lucky or unlucky to be a part of this family.We have already seen what happened to Ranveer.

@BOLD...yes, I am waiting for it with baited breath😉 but so far, every time sonakshi acts surprised (and her character does that a lot😆) at Dev's reaction to situations and how Ishwari, ever so politely, asks her butt out of Dixit family business... is she not getting it??? is she delusional about her happy world? I just don't want this realization to come in one fine second... like magically. It has to be gradual, given Sonakshi's high EQ and ability to understand others point of views.

i love sonakshi's character and can relate to all the efforts she is making, as I have done that too. but never have I been delusional esp. after same scenarios repeat itself with Dev and Ishwari. Both are consistent in their reactions and way they deliver their reactions. Why can't a smart girl like Sonakshi see that😕

bang on... being in shock doesn't add to her credibility when sona knows Dev very well and what he is capable of doing. Ishwari, on the other hand, totally xptable behavior even though her laadla has gone on rich guy power trip before. But, not xpected from Sonakshi. instead of disagreeing.. she could have easily said... I'll find out why Dev did this.

to me.. bad behavior is bad behavior! even sonakshi knows the difference between right and wrong. whether for love or revenge.. outcome was same... destroy livelihood of people because he can due to his power that comes from his money. and he has done that to Sonakshi and Ritvik!

I agree, she is in denial.. and that's why I say.. Sonakshi sach mein Dixit ban gayi hai😆

Agree with your viewpoint. This time its just ego of Dev Dixit n revenge. And we r going to see rest of the scene on monday, maybe Sona ud make him realize his pattern of impulsive actions.

Sonakshi has love induced selective amnesia.

Now that it is partially cured she should simply ask him and also herself a few questions

1. If tomorrow he stops loving her due to x y z reasons will he destroy her and her family

2. Why should she trust him then

3. Why should she put so much effort in their relationship then.

Of course Dev babu will claim undying love. But then she should give him a list of all the times it took him 2 minutes to sideline her or declare her not family when she dared put a toe outside the line.

A marriage can't work either in fear or with rose tinted glasses. Anyone marrying into Dixits needs a prenuptial to protect themselves. - and not one drafted by Ishwari maiyya

I feel CVs are in confusion.On one side they want to show Sonakshi as the Redeemer of Dikshit's but on the other side Sona herself fails to identify their lapses.So how is it possible to do her job?

Like Dev said she is in her fairy tale land still,

As much as I love Dev with all his flaws I can not support him when he plays with the livelihood of others to achieve his purpose or revenge.
