Storyline very confusing!

I'm a little confused here. The story line doesn't make much sense to me. Kanya thinks Ayan's family knows the truth about her when they actually don't. So, shouldn't the Nanda family wonder why the rich hotel owners appear so "middle-class"?

Plus, didn't ayan speak to Devika on the phone once? That lady has a very pronounced accent...not sure if it's British or a mix of Indian, British and american! Definitely not a punjabi one like Kanya's mum. So, shouldn't Ayan wonder at the difference in the accents? Is that a blooper or am I reading too much into that?

Also, Big D would have surely heard Kanya's mom calling her by her actual name while the old lady was still on the phone. She'd heard everything else Kanya's mom was saying so why not this?

Finally, I can't believe that Ayan's snooty mum or anyone else in the family including Ranbir can't catch on that no way can this family be owners of 5 star hotels. Plus, wouldn't they have met Devika or even seen a pic of hers somewhere??

Is that whole track one big blooper or have I missed something?

You are right. I was trying to catch the show this week and I was wondering how they are accepting them as 'Khers' who own Hotels and are rich. Godboles look like simple middle class family and none of these people doubt them😕.

Kanya's letter does not reach Ayan..but her friends love letter to her boyfriend does..instead..😆

But all the time he calls her he does not take her name...Odd nah...and sudenly when he does...with his family sitting all around him...he calls her on a lan line instead of the mobile phone....now how did he get her residence number...😆

In the same way...in the Nanda family..the only person who knows that the girl is not Shanaya..is Ayans aunty...and she tells Kanya..that the family knows all about her and her family..but since they are used to calling her Shanaya...they are calling her that...😕

Stupid really...with one high class family....not finding anything odd in Kanya's family...who are supposed to be from the same society and class..though one is from Delhi and the other from Mumbai.....so how different can they really be???😕😆

But then in Ekta's serial one is supposed to leave their brains far behind..or lock them up and then watch her serials...

As an intelligent person with brians...isn ot the audience she is targeting...😆

and also the way they speak too, in above has been mentioned that ayaan personally talked to devika couldnt he remember the voice 😕
