Strange , we shd be sympathizing with diwakar and his family rather than viren..he should be ashamed that he couldnt keep his promise of keeping the deal a secret because as expected, ppl wud hv taken it in a wrong way . Neither did he explain his mausa in public , try to clear diwakar's stand (that he lent his house papers in lieu of the loan) nor did he say anything to chandra the great who was responsible for this mayhem. On the top of it he shd have cancelled the marriage ? For what? Bec 1-2 baaratis complained abt ac and food?

Sethias cancelled the alliance earlier and their goodness led him to convince them otherwise. Even if sethias seem conservative, aryan is there to support sanchi. Its not as if sethias were to treat their dil badly to take revenge from viren..thats chandras mentality. I believe it was a very good gesture on their part to go ahead with the shadi, viren should be grateful to them and he is...viren's family insulted sethias in the past and they didnt overreact did they? Bec viren sanchi and kusum werw not at fault, why should they be punished ?

I think this is point behind this twist that in marriages, relatives try to spoil everything deliberately ..one should go by their wisdom and not acc to what others say...aryan and his family are angry and they should be ..they need time to come over it as this insult was not a small issue..that doesnt mean sanchi will be illtreated by them always

I am in complete agreement with you. I do feel sorry for Diwakar. That is why I said in my post that they were grievously insulted and that some insults are such that it takes a long time to get over it.
And as for your point about Viren.. That is exactly what I was thinking throughout the entire scene. Why didn't Viren just clear the air and make it obvious to everyone that what mausaji was saying was not entirely right. My argument is not that at all.

I mean.. Look this is a serial so yeah we know they will get over it and patch up will happen.
I just don't get how a FATHER would not even for a moment consider his daughters position. She is no longer going to happy house with people who get along with her family and love her. She is instead going somewhere where there is a lot of resentment towards her and she will have to see that everyday. Viren who has seen his sister come back from a happy marriage should have been a lot more cautious. Yes the sethias are good and Sanchi will be accepted eventually... But the situation has changed drastically. While Sanchi may be accepted , what if the sethias never accept her family ? She will have to live with that. Someday Sanchi and aryan will have children.. What if the sethias hold resentment and don't want them to mix with them because they are noveou rich and will be a bad influence.
We know they will patch up.. They don't.

@nirja i get ur point dear but u too are assuming..my assumption(leaving aside that its a serial) is based on the fact that sethias r a respectable family& aryan is a good boy (a right blend of tradition and modern) and he and his family like sanchi...so eventually they will forgive viren..thats the reason why viren decided to get sanchi married to aryan inspite of their financial status..the reason still holds true ..ur assumption is based on diwakar and sethias attitude right now which is temporary.. a good person stays a good person no matter what circumstanes r...

what happened was unfortunate , diwakar accepted viren's help & someday he had to face it...the way it came out was most insulting n it came from the brides family is another jolt.they all need time to get over

Viren allowed the marriage to happen as he clearly knows that ArChi love each other and now thay can't be apart from each other. Anyways after marriage most of Sachi's life would be filled up with her new family, he might've have felt that if he stops the marriage from happening then it would be his selfishness as Sethias would someday accept Sachi. The only reason to stop the marriage after Sethias accepted would be he can't distance himself from his daughter for her love and happiness with Aryan. He obviously can't do it after he saw how happy Sachi was during all the rituals.
