I read somewhere else also..that this movie is the wrong choice for Ranbir's talent..but I disagree..
Ranbir has always had critical acclaim..what he wants at this stage is commercial success..and KJo is a safe bet..Ranbir has experimented..he has been called the only good thing in the disastrous BV...He was praised for an otherwise boring tamasha..Ranbir is never called a bad actor..ya others may have been called better than him in the movie..but he was mostly not called bad..But whats the use of being among the better things in a flop.KJo's movies have always had polarizing reactions but never flopped..people may love them, hate them, ridicule or discuss them but watch them for sure.About repetitive characters..its a trend..bhedchaal if I must say..most of the mainstream directors r making this coming of age movies if not busy making period films..so how many choices do actors of Ranbir's age have?
