Mujhe ADHM pasand nahin aya

But I loved Ranbir's performace in this movie.

emotional scene main mujhe wo bahot acha laga.

Uske acting main hamesha kuch charm rehta hai

It is his bad luck that usney kuch galat filmain ki.Besharm sey pehle ek Box office pull tha.

Besharam movie ka trailer ghatiya tha.Ganey acha nahin tha.nayi heroine thi.Phir bhi pehla din 21cr kamayi.Isse ye lagta hai us waqt tak usney ek BO pull jo banayi thi uske baad kho di.

Dabang ki huge success ke baad Dabang ki director ka movie usney choose kiya.Sayad uske jagah koi bhi yehi karta.Per Dabangg jaisi entertaining movie thi utna Besharam kharab tha.

Ranbir has talent so I think he needs good movies.

Mujhe lagta hai ki Dutt hit hone ki chances bahot hain as director is Hirani.JJ bhi acha hoga I think so.

Ranbir as an actor never had any question mark.
He is THE BEST out there !! So Besharam n BV didn't end his career . RK has BO pull . People love to watch him n he is hugely popular everywhere except this forum 😆
He will be a star for next 20 years 😎

Idk he should be worried IMO. He isn't getting the same benefit of the "flawless actor, can do no wrong, incredible talent" edit anymore. He actually is getting negative feedback from people like Deepanjana Pal who said she couldn't believe this is the same Ranbir from Rocket Singh. Even Rangan alluded to being tired of Ranbir doing the same type of roles. He better hope Dutt works out for him and establishes more of his range bc even if ADHM puts him back in the BO race, people want to see more from him.

haha ChotaBheem ji I always really respect you and your opinions...so you saying these things about ranbir my favorite actor in bollywood is really nice...will watch the movie soon...I may not like it either but still will watch it for ranbir-anushka's acting...I agree that his BO pull has definitely been affected...look at besharam's opening figure and adhm's opening figure...and sadly bombay velvet the disaster ka dhabba uske career se kabhi erase nahi ho payega😆

same type of roles ka pata nahin kyunki Ranbir ki pichli movies Tamasha,Bombay Velvet,Roy etc ye sab mainey dekhi nahin.SO wo sare movies na dekhtey hue main fresh mind sey ye movie dekha.

So main ye nahin keh paunga ki uska role pichle movies ke jaisa hai ki nahin.Per mujhe acha laga

I read somewhere else also..that this movie is the wrong choice for Ranbir's talent..but I disagree..

Ranbir has always had critical acclaim..what he wants at this stage is commercial success..and KJo is a safe bet..Ranbir has experimented..he has been called the only good thing in the disastrous BV...He was praised for an otherwise boring tamasha..Ranbir is never called a bad actor..ya others may have been called better than him in the movie..but he was mostly not called bad..

But whats the use of being among the better things in a flop.

KJo's movies have always had polarizing reactions but never flopped..people may love them, hate them, ridicule or discuss them but watch them for sure.

About repetitive characters..its a trend..bhedchaal if I must say..most of the mainstream directors r making this coming of age movies if not busy making period films..so how many choices do actors of Ranbir's age have?

He has done the romantic-drama genre a lot I agree and kinda nailed it to perfection (esp with ADHM i think, based on reviews). His next is JJ, a comedy-adventure and then Dutt, a biopic. The interesting thing here is Ranbir signed his last (Dutt) in nov 2014. So, how the failure has changed his mindset in terms of choosing films is yet to be seen. He hasn't signed anything new yet. Based on his IVs, i think he's gonna stay away from the romantic genre for a while.
