^If Vividha chose from her heart to be with Ravish, we would do two things 1) Firstly abuse/accuse the CVs for butchering Vividha's character (because she's been shown TOO in love with Atharv, something which is inseparable from her own being) 2) Leave the show.

It's simple as, she can do whatever she wants after and we would be able to let go of the show . Though I'm not sure why you support Ravish & Vividha. Is it because you just think every show goes down this route or you genuinely like them?!

There's nothing wrong with falling in love again, nothing at all. In fact 2 of my favourite love stories are Hum Tum & Tum Bin and they both are about finding love again. BUT that's the story of those films.

The story of this show has been built on the foundation of Vitharv's love which reaches the level of being true soulmates, transcending conventions and societal norms. That's been emphasised more than once.

I literally just finished today's episode and didn't think anything of the fast breaking. Vividha saw Atharv through the channi, then fainted and in her unconscious state she was given water by Ravish. Does that change that she fasted and wants Atharv? No. She was unconscious and remained unconscious even after the water was given (did she even consume it?!). But yes , what it did do is make Ravish feel he has got a wife who loves him hence he loves her now.

Did you guys see how Vividha smiled thinking about Atharv's button in her bangle? It's not that she's not bothered about Ravish but she was so consumed by Atharv's existence that she didn't seem bothered enough about Ravish's wound even.

it's about what Vividha WANTS! not what she's made to do when she's not in the state to express her will.

Great topic :D

@bold - Logically, morally it should be Atharv Vividha.

BUT this is an Indian telly soap and it will be Ravish-Vividha. They will make it look like Vividha's ultimate choice.

And I am a practical person. Why invest in something, that is not going to be?

But why are you so sure it won't be Vitharv? Those other shows (I've seen most of them) do not have the depth of a love story like Vitharv's does.

When did you see the TV heroine fast for her lover whilst she's married to someone else?

Don't be so sure because JNDSD is treating things very differently

If things are treated differently, I would be surprised and happy that they had the guts to show it.

But as I said unless Atharv-Vividha get officially married with pandit, family, and witnesses, I will not be convinced otherwise.

Ok first of all, i am not a Hindu, so my understanding of alot of rituals and practices may be a little fuzzed. But i want to raise a point and need some clarity. Alot of time in this thread and this forum, the idea that as this marriage was not of freewill and against Vividha;s then it should be nullified. However, as shown the wedding was conducted with all the reeti rawaj and all religious practices and is valid from both religious and social norms.

We have grown up watching the bollywood of the 80s and the 90s,where a whole marriage was deemed legal and acceptable as soon as the hero would cut his thumb and fill the maang with his blood, no matter if the heroine was willing or not. (cases, like bachpan ki manegatar growing up to haute due to rich dad, being cut down to size by just a filled maang or a mangal sutar). There was an entire Karisma Kapoor movie, where she makes the dude tie a mangalsutar unknowingly as apparently he is too stupid to know what it is and they are married for life. So, please let me know what the hindu logic and the law is for such. Does Vividha free will marriage where they made 7 random promises to each other the valid one or the so called forced marriage, which only her family knew about and still went ahead with, the valid one?

As far is the square one is concerned, i believe the story would go around in circles a little bit of truth coming out. i belevie the whole sequence of Sujata and Atharv being exposed to the entire family would come first and then Atharv getting back in some form of sanity will happen and then the entire truth of Vividha will be exposed to Ravish, as the CVs by disclosing everything at this stage will not loose the opportunity of developing Ravish's one side love for Vividha more. Right now its still in infatuation/ She is my wife, ofcourse i love her phase.

I think you may have completely missed the point of my post!😆
Anyway, I was emphasizing that no ritual means anything if it does not involve freewill. Even when that ritual is marriage.
Vividha's rightful spouse is Atharv because she thinks of him as such. And that is what is important. All rituals are secondary to that. They would of course still need to legalize it at some point. I was just discussing the moral/consent aspects of it. Also, court marriages involve no rituals at all (only signatures), yet they are legally binding because they are consensual.

Indian shows and movies take a lot of liberties with the marriage concept. Obviously none of that is applicable to real life.

As far as the legality of the R/V marriage is concerned, forced marriage (performed under threat or coercion) is not considered legal and can be annulled if appealed.

I would rather not discuss R's feelings of love/infatuation, simply because I don't see it. 😆

Coming to the post...you've said it all. Vividha made it very clear since the start that her vrat was for Atharv and nothing matters more than that. It's a person's belief that's important, the rituals come way behind.

And wasn't this what Vividha had herself said when she had asked Sujata for the bangles- Even then she had made her rishta with both of them from her heart and said mangalsutra, phere are mere rituals that come much later. The same applies here.

As for tomorrow, I have stopped hoping. there isn't much that's gonna happen. But I guess it's a start..bringing out one truth at a time.

Cute Baubles! 🤗 Call me Wish. 😳

I love our Vivi. And her clarity when it comes to Atharv. Then nothing and no one matters. 😛😆

This is why I miss her so much. This sanskari bahu is a bore. 🥱
Anyway, did you see her excitement with the button today? Hope it acts like a wakeup call for her and she doesn't forget all about it like the rudraksh and the card. Then I won't even mind the misleading precap so much. 😆

Agreed on the belief part. At the end,it is what Vv wants and not how people judge her.
I really hope Vv tells Ravish clearly tgat the fast is not for him but i doubt she will say anything about it being for anyone else. Ravish will assume she is confused, and the place is new and that she should take rest. blah.

Back to square one.
