Dharam is getting ready for work.
Meera & Gaura come to his room. Meera gifts him the suit saying, "Today, you will wear this."
Dharam: I don't wear this colour.
Gaura: Meera has given it to you with all her heart. She will take care next time.
Dharam wears the suit that Meera gave.
After Dharam left, Gaura said, "Slowly and gradaully, his life will become colourful."
Dharam meets Durga in the office.
Durga: I've never seen you wearing this suit. I've brought this suit for you.
Dharam sees that Durga has brought the suit of his taste.
Durga: How it is.
Dharam: It is nice. I will wear it later. I have decided to move on in my life. Will you marry me?
Durga hugs him and said, "I love you Dharam."
Meera goes to Dharam's office after her college hours and sees him with the same suit. She sees the suit which Durga gave.
Meera: Thanks for accepting my gift.
Dharam: I don't wear this type of suit but I did it because of mom.
Meera: Then you have not changed the suit and wore the suit which Durga gave.
Dharam: I will definitely wear that as that colour is my favourite. Durga knows my taste.
Meera: I will buy a better one for you.
Dharam: Some other time.
Days pass by. Meera completes her studies. Dharam calls Meera and shows her the photos of some guys. Meera looks at the photos and said, "I'm not interested in any one of them."
Dharam: One day or the other you have to get married. It has to happen either in 2 ways. One is your elders choice and the other is yours. Do you have anyone in mind?
Meera: Yes.
Dharam: What is the guy doing and where he is from?
Meera: He is into shipping business.
Dharam: Good
Meera: He is from London.
Dharam: That is really good.
However, his facial expression changes and he gets angry after getting to know about Meera's intentions.
Dharam: Don't talk like a kid.
Meera: I'm not talking like a kid, I'm serious. I have loved only one person in my life and that is you.
Dharam slaps her.
Gaura comes in and said: Why are you slapping that poor girl?
Dharam: Do you know what she said?
Gaura: She is still very small. Give her some time. She will realize once she gets matured.
Dharam: I can't stand her. Take her away.
He then calls Ahem and Gopi to his place. Both come to London.
Dharam: Take your daughter to Manchester and get her married to a nice guy.
Ahem and Gopi are shocked
Gopi: Did Meera commit any such blunder?
Dharam: No but now she has completed her studies and everything is fine at your end. So you take her with you.
Meera: Even I don't want to stay here.
She goes to Manchester with her parents and cries. Her feelings towards Dharam does not go unnoticed to Gopi and other Modi members.
Meera hen comes downstairs to have her dinner.
Next day
Kokila: There is a very good proposal for you. You know that guy very well. He loves you a lot.
Meera sees Ritesh's photo: Well, I need some time to think.
Dharam on the other hand is restless. He is tied between Durga and Meera. However, he longs to see Meera but due to his reservations, he is unable to express his feelings. Karunesh notices that.
Karunesh: I know what you are thinking. Gopi is already married and has two daughters. You say that you want to marry Durga but it is not with all your heart. You listen to your heart. It will be right.
Dharam: I don't have any such feelings. I don't love Durga.
Next day is Diwali. Gaura invites the Modis for the festival. After the puja, Gaura gives the plate to Meera to give the Aarti to all. She does that. She looks at herself in the mirror and dances on the song in front of Dharam.

When she went to Dharam, he said, "Why have you come here?"
Meera: To give you the aarti.
Dharam: Go away.
Meera: No matter how much ever you try to avoid, you cannot run away from the truth. I can see the love for me in your eyes.
Dharam: That is an illusion.
Meera: You are running away from the reality. You love me.
Dharam: I don't love you.
Meera puts the plate forward but Dharam pushes it and said, "It is because of you, your mother was not keeping well when you were small."
Meera: Now I understand that you were in love with my mom before her marriage with dad and that is why you were avoiding me. But don't worry. You will defintely come to me and propose to me. I will make it happen.
She leaves.
Dharam comes down & declares: I want to marry Durga.
After Meera goes home, Vidya sees Meera crying.
Vidya: I know why you are crying. You want to marry kuwarji right?
Meera hugs her tightly.
Vidya: Have faith in kanhaji. Everything will be fine.
She then tells the plan to Meera.
Meera comes downstairs: I'm ready to marry Ritesh.
The family informs about Meera's nod to Ritesh's proposal.
Ritesh & his parents come to her place with a shagun.
Dharam on the other hand is still restless about Meera.
