In dangal trailer amir character wants son to pursue whatbhe couldnt achieve.
So when he had an epiphany that his daughters can do that
He got them in
There is nothing shown from daughters prespective that they wanted to be in wrestling.

The trailor shows that the girls always had inherit talent for wrestling but Phogat never paid attention bcz he was blinded by stereotypes, but once he realises .. thats after the girls beat up the neighbour boy he polishes thier talent.

I dont think he forced, as a parent he pushed them to work hard on thier inherit talent .

Interesting question and tough to answer , this gives some perspective. http://www.huffingtonpost.in/rudraneil-sengupta/the-story-of-these-six-wrestler-sisters-from-haryana-is-what-you/ All sisters enjoyed it, they relished the freedom that came with it too. I guess they are truly living their own dreams as well.

Seems like their father asked them to do it and they liked it.
More than wrestling looks like they enjoyed

But that is not the question though
If you ask hansika motwani , she will say she loved acting since such young age
But we all know how her mother pushed her

Plus, I believe that you can't be an achiever if you don't enjoy doing it. Coz the hardwork an international representation of the country requires is insane. I could almost equate it to meditation, it requires a lot of focus and dedication, be it any stream or field. Probably he did put the seed in them, but that eventually took its own form in the daughters. Plus, if parents seem some kind of potential in their kids, they do push them a bit more so that the kids go all out in achieving it. I think, the way we see it is pretty objective.

Then it goes for Sachin too no? He was into Tennis and his brother took him to the coach? Or you read up Usain Bolt's flight.
Coaches discover hidden talent. Same with their father, he saw potential and groomed them.

What Hansika's mother did was wrong with the injections forcing her child to do something illegal.

My point is phogat looked he was hellbent on getting his glory through his kids
He would have forced his son too if he had one
Its already difficult for kids to defy their parents let alone indian kids

I don't think he forced them..more like gave them an insight into a field they can excel in even though it is looked upon as a "guy" sport..he saw the potential and they actually nailed it..

I don't know what is hell-bent in this case. Coz if we were to see him as a 'coach' to the kids, to be very honest, coaches can be extremely tough and rough, at times. They would push you to an extent where you might just want to chuck it all. But then what keeps you going is that teeny bit of desire inside you which makes you to continue it despite all the difficulties. As cliched as it may sound, it is true. They don't just share some pretty encouraging words.😆 And the only reason why you would push yourself too is because somewhere you want to do it. We don't know if they wanted to do it all only for the sake of his father's dream..that nobody will know except for the Phogat sisters themselves. So kinda difficult to debate on that aspect. 😛
