After playing the cute Twinkle in 'Tashan-E-Ishq', Jasmin Bhasin will be seen in a drastically different avatar in Shashi and Sumeet Mittal's 'Dil Se Dil Tak'. The daily soap, which also features Sidharth Shukla and Rashami Desai, has Jasmin playing a bar dancer from a village.
The actress says the role is already giving her sleepless nights. Why? A hardcore Punjabi kudi, she finds playing a Gujarati chokri a daunting task. Jasmin says, "I've never played a Gujarati character. I took up this offer as a challenge, and am attending workshops to learn the language and work on my diction. I hope I am able to do justice to the character."
Not wanting to spare any effort, she is also watching Gujarati films to gain better understanding. She adds, "My character hails from a small village, where she worked as a bar dancer. But in the city, she does odd jobs." Jasmin's role is rumoured to be based on Preity Zinta's character in the Salman Khan-starrer 'Chori Chori Chupke Chupke'.
