ImagineMe: Completely agree with you. The FF awards had a certain amount of fair ness to them back in the 90s & 2000s but every year they become worse & worse!!! I only watch them to watch the clothes now. Lol.

There is no magazine editor who commands respect . They all have become boot-lickers of celebs . They want celebs in their bday parties and want to post pics with celebs. So the trust factor and respect is gone from post of Editor of a movie magazine.
Shobha De or Khalid , once upon a time they had credibility coz they never looked like they've been paid to close their mouth.
Be it Masand, Jitesh, Bhawna , Komal, Taran or Faridoon - they all keep buttering celebs.
KRK is famous today coz he isn't seen as gang member of any celeb . The man is pathetic but he has image of being unbiased . It's changing slowly though. He exists coz others aren't doing their job properly.

No one takes the awards seriously. Even the recipients come in just before and jet soon after doing their 5 mins acceptance gig on stage. 😆
