He clearly doesn't understand the difference between tacky masala films and nice entertaining films. 😕

He is trying to pull a Aamir, but Aamir had a ISHQ or DCH (both of them I love) and other random ones but some good ones as well. I'm not an Aamir fan, but he makes entertaining films as well which aren't trashy or stupid by any means. Fair enough if he wants that, but Aamir didn't get to that position overnight, it's a journey you have to be willing to take. All of these big stars, did some crap stuff just to be able to make it. It took a lot of hard-work and Khans definitely brought BW to the World Map unlike others.

If he really was so passionate about film-making and "good" stories, the BO numbers wouldn't have mattered. Cleary he wants to be a superstar, so he needs to stop that fake act about being so interested in films and acting. If he was really like that then he should have gone and done theatre, where it's about acting and story. 🤔

This Harsh guy gave me "I am better than all" vibe from beginning. Mr.oh I don't watch Indian movies and only like American movies and shows

I wonder where do these kapoor kids gets this attitude from? Anil doesn't seem like that, even Arjun is very humble. Both Sonam and now Harsh seem to live in Lala land where they can do no wrong and everyone from audience to fellow actors are out to get them!!!

Where did he say this? I'm sure he said he's a big fan of Hindi cinema and watches movies all the time. He's name-dropped so many films too 😕

Just managed to watch it. The film indeed looks like a work of art. The absence of too many dialogues made sure of that and every scene was more like a moving picture with meaningful glances and subtle gestures. I enjoyed the experience, it was a decent one time watch.

It looks like the movie was made on the question in Mehra's mind about the perceived paradox of Mirza-Sahiba (I watched his interview prior to watching the movie) and why they ended up in the folklore like they did. So I went into the movie with that question in mind too but I couldn't really connect with the director's mindset, his adapted version of the story and did not find any answers either. The movie really started in the second half for me and although some scenes, performances and nuances of the characters were amazing, nothing really stood out for me. I didn't particularly enjoy the vfx effects either.

I really liked Saiyyami and Harshwardhan though. They looked fresh.
