I have been a silent reader so far but I guess today is as good as any day to post !
I see a lot of posts bashing SSO , not that he doesn't deserve it. Our fragile hearts wanted him to confess his undying love for Anika and propose but wouldn't that have been a major deviation from his character. He lets his head rule his heart and he did the same today.
He knows he feels some strongly for Anika but he has not admitted that to himself. He will be able to walk the path of love only when he admits to himself that he loves her. The realization has not dawned on him - no worries, we are heading there quickly !
Another point that really stood out today was how absence of Om affects his decision making. He treats Rudra like a kid and I firmly believe that Omkara is the one who can knock some sense in him. Omkara is his voice of reasoning - he fights it most of the time, but it impacts his thought process immensely.
The promo now plays out - Tia is the murderer and the root cause of evil in Oberoi mansion. She is thrown out and Shivaay realizes that marriage is not a business deal. Anika by then is sick and tired of his hot and cold attitude. She has her defences up and her fighting claws out.
This is Gul story- same person who got Arnav in a very vulnerable and confused state to announce his engagement to Lavanaya. The point was to prove that Khushi didn't affect him
It is a superhit formula that works every single time.!
P.S - I really want Shivaay's feelings to be shown from now on. How he behaves when Anika gives him the cold shoulder ? His frustration when he wants to drop her home and she refuses. How he breaks another phone when Anika doesn't receive his calls. How hr desperately wants her to throw water on him. How his character transtions from Shivaay singh Oberoi to just Shivaay!
