Akbar is worth remembering not because he was born great. He made mistakes, he learned from them and achieved greatness. He made rationality his guiding principle and universal tolerance his way of life. As he once said "In our troubled times so full of contradictions, it does not make sense to proclaim the truth of one religion over others. A wise man learns from all. Maybe in this way, the door may be opened whose key has been lost"
