Future of NB & other reality shows

Rakhi on India Tv has accused Star Plus of rigging the votes and using her to raise the TRps.

Jhalak wasn't free of controversies either. So what is the future of such shows? Is every winner going to be considered undeserving? Can a channel really manipulate votes and if so, how can that be proved?

Rakhi says she was used in order to raise tRps. How can one person or pair make such a huge difference in the trps? Or is it being suggested that production houses dealing with the said channel have a greater say in the matter?

Star Plus used some of its actors to request votes from its viewers. What I noticed was this...all Balaji actors supported AS while the non-Balaji ones rooted for RA. This can be viewed in two ways. Either the actors are widely divided in their opinions or the channel is being unbiased.

Whatever the truth is, nothing is going to change unless the voting system changes and people understand what talent shows are about.

With all the controversies raging, the coincidence that both dance shows (NB & JDJ) were won by BT actors is likely to be looked at with askance. Unfortunately, the fact that that all the winners are talented in their own ways will remain debatable.

i think the jhalak diklaja winner should have been sandya but 4 nach baliye i think both raki+abhisek and sanjeeda and amir deserved to win. cause amir and sanjeeda were really good too.
and on the grand finale night i think amir and sanjeeda's dance was much better than rakhi and abhiseks.

watever us saying is rite pippa ......but i dun think it will make any difference to reality shows or channels

todayz generation hav a very short-lived memory ....today sum r wit rakhi ,sum r not but when afetr sum time anotehr reality show will occur ...or NB4 will be there .....same ppl will definately watch it ....cuz of their favourites in teh show! they need entertainment ....which these reality shows create and gives u.

ya agree with .reality shows r gives more importance to popularity

I don't think that all these kind of allegations are going to effect popularity of reality shows. 😕

Mini Mathur was on IndiaTV when Rakhi-abhi were talking to janata .. it was a live telecast.

Mini said in some shows there is audit and there are certain formats like in Indian Idol, it is an international show and they follow cetain format, so it's impossible to cheat votes, but in some shows there is channel is the main authority and they can do anything they want.
