I am tired maa - Tired of all the responsibilities, of always shouldering everyone's burden, of always trying to be perfect - perfect son, perfect provider of the family. I am tired, really tired.
Can there come a time when Dev will come to such disillusionment, disappointment and depression that he will drop down on his knees, head bent and pour his heart out in utter loss. Afterall Dev is also a human being, he is our Hero, so we want him to be always strong - but a hero is a human being, and every human being needs some love, peace and support for his own self. In Dixit family he can't get any of the three unconditionally. Sona could have provided these to him, but His own mother would not like it, would not allow it. It might also happen that Sona would distance herself from him at some point. Then what would be Dev's situation? For how long will he keep on shouldering all this pain alone, all these responsibilities alone - responsibility of his sister's needs, his mother's insecurities, Mamiji and Vicky's material needs and everything else.
Would there come a moment then when Dev's shoulders would drop low with a weight of burden he has carried all his life, never getting pure love and satisfaction for his own self ever. Never getting something for his individual self even when there was someone who was ready to give.
Dev is afterall a human being. Can a human being not get Tired - just tired, tired of it all!
