Well the start of the show itself is on wrong note. Well Ekta is known for making fictional shows, but when she makes a historical show she needs good research.
According to history Chandragupta Maurya becomes Emperor after defeating & killing Dhanananda the last Emperor of Nanda Dynasty, Mahapadmananda was Dhanananda's father. Dhanananda comes to power after the death of his father Mahapadmananda, who was Barber according to History who becomes Emperor after killing his Monarch by treachery.
Here its true they showed Padmananda a barber kills the King of Magadh & sizes power thats true. But after that they are showing that Chandragupta will kill Mahapadmananda to take over Magadh.
But the fact is Chandragupta kills Dhanananda to become king, & Dhanananda is the son of Mahapadmananda the first Emperor of Nanda Dynasty.
