oh, thanks for clarifying, mrs. uzii mittal. 😆 then shall i try to say why i thought it was an exceptional scene. you decide if i'm right in thinking that there was a hint-hint wink-wink aw-gee chemistry tingle there. 😊
i liked that neither anjali or yug were being dramatic with puppy dog faces or glaring eyes. i liked that the dialogue was not heavy emotion (except for that one "mar gayey they" - oh, yug! 😳). they were ordinary lines, typical setting and typical looks. but at the end of it, suddenly, there was a deepening of the look. i can't describe it really. but it was enough to make anjali drop her eyes in front of yug.
that was very very new. anjali is not shy with anyone other than kavya. when she did this, it made this look of yug's important because her reaction to it was different from usual.
another thing that i liked was that i was not pushed into feeling it. usually a scene primes you to feel something. they typically use music which we have already seen other mushy scenes in (like we have in scenes between our kavya and anjali - the moment you hear the music you start to melt). but in this scene, they don't use their yug-anjali music. and still the scene touched me. 😳
so against my better judgement ('cause i don't want yug to really become a martyr to love - he loves so very nicely 😭), there was some chemistry and it was undeniable, at least for me. 😳
how's that for analysing the scene to death!? 😆 -esther
