Soon ishra were on bike going towards their school and their mind was lost in their thoughts.Raman was thinking why ishita didn't ate her breakfast and behaving fishy while ishita's mind was stuck in the aloo ka parantha which toshiji made in breakfast.
Ishita- (St) kitna yummy lag raha tha,ek bhi nahi kha paayi main.agar ek kha leti toh kisi ko kya pata chalta,she was thinking when next moment she closed her eyes and could imagine Raman's bike sliding and he got injured.
She hold Raman tight and said- no I will not eat.please Raman aap mat girna.
Raman- chotu what happened.we will not fall.u just relax Babu.he said riding the bike making ishita relax.the ride to school was just silent afterward.
Soon ishita went to her class and kept her bag.she went to assembly with her friends ,now she was more determined to keep the fast as she don't want any harm to Raman.
She saw Raman was arranging lines ,she was looking at him.soon the assembly started,Raman's eyes was on her only.after assembly ishita start going back hiding her hand as mehendi wasn't allowed in school.when Raman saw her.he called her and said- show me ur palm.
Ishita nodded in no.
Raman- show me or I have to call the teacher.
Ishita got scared and showed her mehendi.Raman was looking what she was writing in the morning but couldn't understand as it was all messed up,only the N written by pen was visible.he understand that she has written someone's name in her hand and got angry thinking that she has written someone's name in her hand,he couldn't guess it is his name only.
Raman- whose name u have written.he asked angrily.
Ishita got scared thinking he will scold her if he came to know it his.
Ishita- it's my name.she said in shivering voice.
Raman- oh really tumhare naam mein N kab se aane lagaa.tell me whose name is this.do u have any boyfriend.
Ishita- boyfriend kya hota hai.
Raman was about to say when teacher called her.he went saying he will meet her in lunch.
Ishita went to her class ,now she was more confuse,what is boyfriend.
Ishita- why Raman asked about boyfriend. Kya boyfriend ka naam mehendi se likha jaata hai.toh pati ka kahan likha jaata hai.aur boyfriend kaun hota hai,kya uske liye bhi vrat rakhna padhta hai,do log ke liye do din vrat.mujhe kitni bhookh lagegi.she was sitting and scratching her head in utter confusion.
Ishita was tired of thinking so thought let raman come and clear the confusion.soon teacher came and start teaching.ishita got busy in studies but every now and then she felt hungry or thirsty.
Soon it was lunch time,ishita start feeling restless out of thirst.her mouth and lips got dried ,everyone get out of the classroom to have their lunch.
Raman was angry with ishita so he went to their place but didn't find her there.
Raman- kahin uss N wale ke saath toh nahi chali gayi.he was saying when he remember he got her tiffin.he took it and went to check her classroom only to see her sitting holding her head.he got worried and ran to her.he touched her only to see she was hot.
Raman- what happened chotu.why u r so hot.r u feeling feverish.
Ishita- pyaas lagi hai.she said meekly.
Raman opened the water bottle and said giving her water- have it.
Ishita- no I can't.
Raman- why.
Ishita- Maine karwachauth ka vrat rakha hai.
Raman- vrat,tumne kyun aur kiske liye.
Ishita- aapke liye,aap mere pati ho naa.
Raman- pati,main tumhara.kab aur kaise.who told u this.achcha tell me later first drink water.
Ishita- nahi vrat rakha hai,nahi rakha toh aap par vipatti aa jayegi. She said feeling restless.
Raman- kisne kaha yeh sab.
Ishita- aunty ne,saying so she narrated everything.
Raman was stunned to hear this and also don't know how to react.his chotu think so much about him that she sacrificed her food for him ,now also she is hungry and thirsty but not ready to have anything to make him safe.he hugged her tight and said- r u mad chotu,u did so much for me and I was shouting on u .how crazy I am.I am sorry .saying so he lovingly kissed her forehead. She close her eyes feeling this touch.he hugged her while she snuggled more into him.
Raman realised that her body temperature in increasing due to dehydration. He broke the hug in a jiffy and saw her eyes were closing and she was feeling dizzi.he immediately took some water in his hand and washed her face.he made her drink water,she was resisting but he forcefully made her drink it.
Raman- koi pati nahi hoon main tumhara aur tum kou vrat nahi rakh rahi.he said making her drink.
Ishita- Raman please understand,u will be in trouble if I break my fast.
Raman cupped her face and said- Babu it's not at all true.karwachauth sirf bade rakhte hain,aur pati woh hota hai jisse aapki shaadi hui ho.joh aapki maang mein sindoor bhare,who make u wear mangalsutra. Did I do that to u.
Ishita nodded in no.
Raman- so I am not ur husband bachcha.
Ishita- u r not my husband. She asked little disappointed.
Raman- no chotu,I am not.infact noone is ur husband. Jab tumhari shaadi hogi tab husband hoga.
Ishita- tab bhi aap hi honge naa.she asked innocently.
Raman smiled and said- yes I will be ur husband, then u can keep fast for me but not now.u r too small for all this.now drink water ,saying so he start making her drink when she asked again.
Ishita- aapko kuch nahi hoga naa.
Raman smiles and said- no bachcha,I will be fine.trust me jab tak tum mere saath rahogi nothing will happen to me.now drink water.
Ishita nodded and drank water.he open the tiffin and see it was all cold.yes they everyday eat it but today he don't want feed her that.he went out telling her to wait and come after sometime.he took her bag and said- chalo.
Ishita- kahan.
Raman- ghar,I have taken permission from ur class teacher saying that u r unwell.she nodded and tried to get up but loose balance .Raman held her and soon both were on the way to home.in the way ,they stopped at her favourite cafe joint where he ordered everything she like.
Raman- first u eat ,subah se kuch khaya nahi.bimar pad gayi pagli bachchi.
Ishita- main sachchi kha loon.
Raman- ofcourse.
Ishita- OK,she said smiling and start eating burger while raman was just lost in her.he was falling for her more,thinking how innocently she want him safe and sound .and can do anything for him.he was overwhelmed with the feeling that she did all this for him,the name on her hand was his .
Raman- I am her pati and she did everything taki mujh par koi vipatti naa aaye.koi kaise itna cute ho sakta hai.he was thinking while ishita was busy in having her chocolate milkshake.every time she take a sip or bite,she look at him like asking it's safe naa to eat and he just close his eyes to reply to her.ishita was busy in eating while raman was busy in admiring her.
