Haven't heard of Karen Marie Moning .Suggest me some of her books nd also mention the plot. Btw do u lyk Judith McNaught. She is also a great writer.

KMM Highlander series is quite talked about.

Try this, Beyond the highland mist!

Plot -

Fairy king gets wind of how great Hawk is with women from his fairy queen and plots a revenge. He plans to get hawk fall in love and make him lose it.

Adrienne from the 1990's was time traveled backwards to the 15th century and it starts from there..

It's a good read, i loved it.

Judith , yes i have heard of her but haven't read her work.. what would you recommend? 😊

Fabulous! Just my kind of thread 😃

Absolutely agree with what you said about the warm feeling of old school romances, but for me added to that it is also the sense of adventure, intrigue, and mystery as well that we find in many of these books apart from the romance. The very fact that a lot of what we take for granted today like freedom, technology, education etc was virtually non-existent back then and the struggles of the people through those limitations and restrictions of those eras make us really admire the bold and spirited characters in these books.

My favorites in this genre are Lisa Kleypas, Mary Balogh, Amanda Quick and Johanna Lindsay, though I have a huge collection by Julie Garwood, Judith McNaught, Julia Quinn, Eloisa James, Sabrina Jefferies etc I still have to dig into 😊.
