Okay you seem to be much more experienced to those things than I am because, obviously I have never been married before! Also, because I probably will never commit to something like thatbecause I dont believe in love and stuff and I am definitely not jumping into some random person via arranged marriage. If you say some MILs are like her, I am totally avoiding this road because there is more behind this dirty kitchen politics. Personally, I live far from India (I'm Indo-Australian) and I don't live in a joint family, so that rules out my relate-ability with the show. However, I still watched it because it was something new. It was about the dynamics between these people. Now even Shaheer tweeted saying "its gone to a saas bahu drama" n Erica replied back saying "sad but true" so I find it disheartening when a good concept is butchered really. Also, the fact that all these things happen to be realistic does raise a lot of questions on a "misogynistic society" in the country because a lot of the traditions are really unfair and very very sexist.

It certainly does raise a lot of questions on the society norms and isn't it good that someone is showing the reality of what happens in some (If not all) households. I for one never expected this to be a full romantic two leads only show, but rather a show about three people and the makers were very clear on this part right from the promo. So what we are seeing now is exactly what was expected to be seen from day 1.

But when the initial promos mentioned insecure mother and the couple, this is exactly what i thought they would show and i am very happy with the way they are showing all the issues that the couple face before and afrlter marriage due to insecure and obsessive mothers..
I love this track and it is being shown so realistically so far.. I am much much older than 14 .. btw

Good reply! Actually I noticed whoever commenting negatively about this show are mainly teenagers.
To begin with the makers never said this is about college students or Based on college campus .
The main usp of this show is relation between mother , son and his love
So ultimately it has to deal with MIL , DIL and son relationship.
Normal and matured people are very much following this show and also appreciating it!

Hey there , as you said you do not live in India. I have to tell you that what ever is being shown in the show is actually quite common in Pakistan/India/Bangladesh. I have seen this with my eyes. I am a pakistani and i had never been to Pakistan untill 2 days back. I am actually quite surprised by the Kitchen politics and Saas Bahu stories over here , which obviously i pointed out saying that ' Ye to sirf dramo me hota haina?'. Trust me , if you havent seen it , doesnt mean its not there. A lot of people on the forum itself has shared their stories of how KRPKAB reminded them of their own family. My Phupoo(Bua) , actually did not let his son consummate with his wife for almost like 4 to 5 days and the couple ended up having divorce. So My phupoo was the firsy ever thought that entered my mind while seeing the current track. This js just to let you know that it is REALISTIC for many of us.
Now , coming to the Sona being a doormat. Even the biggest lion has to bow down one day to save the relation he is in. Sonakshi is a strong headed girl STILL and she will remain one but why is it necessary that she always behaves like one? Sonakshi is an intelligent modern girl who knows thatt if she is going to retiliate back it going to effect whom? Ishwari? NO! IT MAY BACKFIRE ON HER . But as you say there are certain limits and when Sonakshi will see that Ishwari has already crossed them then you will see how strong and composed she is. Right now , she is a new bride who is facing some problem in her sasural and she is being the calm best she can but she will not be that always my dear. You will see a strong minded Sonakshi again but only when she wll come to know about the evil games Ishwari is playing.

I will end my rant with a saying " Agar dusre jahil hai iska matlab ye nahi keh ham bhi unko sabak sikhane keh liye jahil banjaye , phir ham me or unme fark hi kia rehjaega?"

SAME!!!! Well we follow daylight saving so we have an hour of gap. Btw were you born in the country? I'm not a fullon Aussie, I do carry the passport tho I wasn't born here. I'm born in India, and when I was 2 months old I travelled to South Africa and Botswana and spent 10 years there. Then I moved to India for 2 years then the last 2 years were spent in Sydney. But even when I was little, Melbourne and Sydney were our holiday destinations. I think we might move again to maybe New York but still not sure, we may not even move though.

No am born and brought up in India only . It is only after marriage I was shifted to Australia because my hubby is working over here. So good you are travelling a lot and am sure every new place is something to learn about and something exciting things to do .

Hope I didn't scary you with my post .

Don't ever think marriage is bad . It is beautiful relation but at present you are quite young to understand the complexity of this relation.

Enjoy your teenage time . Learn , study , enjoy with Frnds and family .

Live your life and enjoy every moment of life fully .

God bless you dear and big Huggies to you .
