Star Plus' Ishqbaaaz (4 Lions Films) is all set for some big dhamaal' in the story line!!

To give you all a preview of the happenings, there will be a death followed by a new entry...

The entry of the Chhabra family has given rise to big drama with Annika (Surbhi Chandna) assuming the groom to be a creep.

If this is not enough, Shivaay (Nakuul Mehta) will get to know of Dev's (Ish Thakkar) real identity. He will unearth the truth of Dev being the illegitimate son of Mr. Chhabra (Ashish Kaul). With Shivaay not liking the fact that the family hid the truth, he will refuse the offer and this will upset Priyanka (Subha Rajput) who would have already developed a liking for Dev.

This disappointment will again create unrest between Shivaay and Annika. Shivaay will assume that Annika was in fact in favour of the alliance, and he will yell at her.

The confrontation between Shivaay and Annika will get to another level, and Annika will quit her job.

OMG!!

Above all, a shocker of a development will stun the Oberois. Shivaay who would have been receiving threatening calls from Gayathri will go to meet her. But the moment he will reach to meet her, she will get killed.

Aww!!

And this will put Shivaay in huge problem as he will be charged for the murder.

At this juncture in the story, there will be a new entry, that of actor Ayush Anand. Ayush was last seen in shows Jodha Akbar and Balika Vadhu.

In Ishqbaaaz, he will play the role of ACP Ranveer Singh Randhawa, a typical angry young man and a cop by profession. He is slated to be the guy opposite Priyanka.

We tried contacting the actors concerned, but could not reach out to them.

Our last hope of SHIVIKA jealousy track gone in vain.. 😭

I am just going to watch the show without much of it thinking about!

Wow Priyanka love life is on a roll but I was starting to like dev oh well. I guess the acp who is against the onerous falling for Priyanka makes a more drama filled storyline.

Based on everything we know, this seems to be a very likely scenario.

When Shivay got high-handed last time and brought up lineage, Aanika quit. I am going to assume this fight will happen in private again and it is more likely that Aanika will resign than Shivay firing her.
The precap indicates that Aanika is upset for Priyanka and she would have heard Shivay's BS reasons for ending the engagement. Aanika arguing with Shivay about it is more likely than her setting up Priyanka on a blind date with Dev.
Navina Bole returns to IB and I am hoping we are getting closure on her story/secret here.
Both Om and Aanika noticed Shivay's changed demeanour after Gayatri's call, so my guess is that Om recruits Aanika to help to save Shivay, if that is in fact where the track is going.
Saumya's track is looking to be the emotional track and instead of the C-track, it will be the B-track because the A-track is definitely the murder track with Shivay.

This has the potential to bring a lot of stories to the forefront.

NB. Not sure if the DCP will be paired opposite Priyanka. Tellychakkar, like all the other portals, give us hit and miss information. I have yet to see evidence of them treating Priyanka like a real character. Giving her a love story when the two of the male leads have yet to begin their stories properly seems unlikely.
