On Thursday, Ajay Devgn became the first major film star to say that he won't work with any Pakistani artist during at this moment in time. When asked if he was taking a pro-BJP life, Ajay Devgn said that he'd do the same if any other government had been power.

Speaking to CNN-News 18, Ajay Devgn said: "You can't clap with one hand. Talks have been going on. You keep talking to people but then they come kill you. How can you still continue a dialogue? I want to see you getting into a fight with somebody and after he gives you a tight slap on your face, let's have a talk. What will your reaction be instantly to retaliate or talk?"

When asked if he'd work with any Pakistani actor, he said: "How do you expect me, when there's a constant exchange of bullets? Not at the moment."

AT THE MOMENT...Pak actors per ban laga hai...Ajay kya ..koi unke saath BW movies mein kaam nahi kar sakta hai.

LOL. During the meet and greet he did say that Shivaay is"made by Indians for Indians". I thought he was slyly referring to ADHM but i guess he had a double meaning. I am glad i didn't mention where i am from at the event. 😛

Oh and after he made that comment Kajol immediately said something to him in his ear probably to the effect of don't say that or there might be Pakistanis here too.

He was famous before Kajol.

His debut Phool Aur Kaante was a SuperHit and he was famous post 1991.

I think I am able to comment on this better because I am someone who has watched lot of bollywood movies in USA. I don't discriminate based on Khans or not. Whenever I have time I just go to pass time. Heck I have even watched Duhla Mil Gaya of fardeen khan where 2 homos and I were the only 3 watching the movie. No I was not connected to them. lol

Based on my own experience in US, family in UAE I have seen that there are certain stars which are very popular in Pakistan and that starts with Shahrukh, Salman anod Aamir. You definitely see Pakistanis watching their movies. In UAE there movies are full house. I think UK is the same. Obviously Pakistan origin connection appeals to a lot.

Then there are some like Hrithik and Ranbir Kapoor who generate interest but not at level of Khans. However even if their movie is good people do go.

Problem is Ajay devgun does not generate anything with Pakistani audience. Only a person like me will watch him and there are very few. Here he has played a brilliant game where he is trying to

a- present himself as patriotic and cash in the sentiments

b- trying to impact adhm thru showing its pakistani contents

So in the end it is all about money for him...this is do or die for him

Problem is no matter how many plotting u do...in the end anything can happen..u never know

but he played his card.
