According to sources, Kangana Ranaut, is insisting on a new clause in her film contract, which states that the final edit of the film would be subject to her approval and can be released only after her final nod.

Not sure how true this is. But if true, this is utterly stupid. Any creative person working on the film could be unsatisfied and if they all start adding such clauses, no film will release and producers will go bankrupt.

The risk is completely borne by the producer.. totally unfair. Stars should not treat producers like this.
