but from past some days many news are coming like- ranveer wants this ranveer wants that
firs Mr Ranveer should understand that Ratan Singh was Padmini's 'Husband' so eventually both are LEADS here
& Khilji is VILLAIN which will be played by you , get it first
let me tell you some points about Khilji--
Alauddin Khilji's (r 1296-1316) capture of slaves was stupendous and he shackled, chained and humiliated slaves (Lal [c] p 540).
Many thousands were massacred. Alauddin Khilji (r 1296-1316) had 50,000 slave BOYS in his personal service and 70,000 slaves worked continuously on his buildings.(Lal [c] p 541)
Mongols from central Asia tried to invade Delhi during the reign of Alauddin many times. Some of these Mongol people also settled near Delhi and accepted Islam. They were called "New Muslims". However, their financial condition was not good. Ala ud-din Khilji suspected them of being involved in a conspiracy against him and of being a threat to his power. He ordered to kill them all in a single day. In 1298, between 15,000 and 30,000 people near Delhi, who had recently converted to Islam, were slaughtered in a single day due to fears of an uprising. Their women and children were made slaves.[
now rani padmini The beauty of Rani Padmini was legendary. Very fair and flawless skinned, she was so delicately beautiful that one could literally see water passing by her throat when she drank water, same when she ate betel leaves. Poems of her beauty are written in the epic poem PADMAVAT, by the poet Mallik Mohammed Jayasi in 1540 AD.
When Ratan Singh refuses Alauddin Khilji's demand for Padmavati for his harem, war ensues and the king is taken prisoner. Meanwhile, the king of neighbouring Kambhalner makes an indecent proposal to the queen. Ratan Singh escapes and kills the king of Kambhalner, but is himself fatally wounded. His two queens, Padmavati and Nagmati perform Jauhar, and Alauddin's army arrives when their ashes are still warm. Chittor falls to the emperor.
