The wall that was held together with pain, with broken shards of his family, pinching his roots, boots, and heart, he stood tall, until she broke him down with laughter, exasperation, and tenderness.
What could he do in the face of this support he had never expected to find?

Why did he always forget to remember he had made promises to another, while his heart went on to repeatedly vow his heart and soul to her?
