This is another rant on today's episode because...
What an episode! Waah! Mazaa aa gaya.

Let me begin by saying that each and every member of the Dixit and Bose family thinks that he/she is the greatest. They make the best sacrifices in the world. Let's take a little tour.

1. God that is Maa that is Ishwari is mahaan and bechari at the same time. She made a huge sacrifice of fixing her son's marriage with Sona, even though she was against their relationship. She compromised at every step of the wedding. Bless her highness. She's so 'great' that she came back all tired for the wedding, not to forget, she was starving but she decided to COOK because that's the appropriate thing to do. After all, she has to impress an 80+ year old lady who claims to be her mother in-law. Mahaan.

2. Dev decides to keep a secret from his would be wife because he loves her, doesn't want to hurt her, wants to keep her happy. Wow. Mahaan. When the cat is out of the bag, he speaks nothing in defence. Wow. Mahaan.

3. Sonakshi knows what kind of a family Dixits are. She knows Ishwari had major issues with her. She knows they were conservative. She knows about the lehenga. She knows Radha' Rani knows nothing but to insult but she questions Dev about all this like it's the first time she entered that mad house. Mahaan.

4. Bijoy got his daughter married to someone. He's still not convinced about their intentions and thinks that they can't keep Sona happy. Last I checked, marriage was considered as a lifetime commitment in India. What's the point of thinking about all this now? Mahaan.

5. Radha Rani can see Ishwari cooking all by herself. She can see her fainting but does nothing to help her. What kind of a human being is she? Mahaan.

6. Dixit sisters can see everything, hear everything but seems like they have no voice. They look, hear, ignore and are all cheerful again. Mahaan.

7. Bua Dadi follows customs of 19th century. Just because a pallu fell off, Sona is not good enough to take care of the household. Such thinking, much wow. Letting a sick woman cook for you is good enough. Mahaan.

8. Ishwari being all nice that Devakshi shouldn't be disturbed, it's their night but indirectly telling Sonakshi that she accepted her because of Dev, indirectly showing Sonakshi that she was Dev's priority and then wanting everyone to think she's no less than a goddess. Mahaan.

9. CVs show a 1 hour episode with shitload of melodrama. Then they show another episode with more melodrama. No focus on the couple who just got married and needs some privacy. Mahaan.

P.S.- People who want to tell me that I should wait and watch. No, I can't wait anymore. I'm done waiting. Another show with the Saas-bahu saga. Never signed up for that.

I stopped watching the show, I read the Live Written Updates to remind myself I did the right thing by not watching! (ERSK is NORMAL).
I unfortunately saw the HYPED mahaepisode to see the DevAkshi marriage which was barely 15mins!!

I dont think there is anything left to watch, I suggest stick to written updates its easier.

Totally agree with all your points. We didn't sign up for this!!
This show is just getting lamer and lamer. Don't know how long ppl are going to put up with this shit. 🤢 All non-DevAkshi scenes make me wanna puke.

And for God's sake, give us one real, passionate, romantic scene, CVs!!! Is it too much to ask for from a married couple? šŸ˜•šŸ„±

Going to start that right away. Last I checked, this was supposed to be a love story with a twist. I can see the twists and more twists, the love story is lost.

Actually what they showed today happens in many households so I wasn't surprised.

Coming to the show Dev babu wants to have his cake and eat it too. He will soon find its not possible and then either he will turn out to be a wimp or finally become a man. If the makers have planned an estrangement and leap then Dev babu will continue to be a baby till he loses Sona and then will be forced to grow up.

If the makers don't want an estrangement then Dev baby will slowly and steadily grow up.

Regarding Sonakshi we all knew that she was looking at the world with rose tinted glasses. Let us see whether she becomes as sly as Ishwari or ends up walking out because I have very low hopes of Dev growing up without an electric shock. Sonakshi can't survive in that house being the way she is right now without Dev's support.

I felt that all the characters were behaving true to form and behaved the way they were supposed to. Ishwari sly cunning and cheap, firing the gun from buaji shoulder, sisters dumb and GKB vulgar.

Forget marriage, a couple in love can be romantic. They can do so much but no, they show is Maa and maa and baba and Bua 🄱

Every scene makes me cringe. Disappointed.

If Dev needs to lose Sona again to be a man then what was the point of losing her the first time? What did he learn from his mistake? How many times will he lose her before actually realising the mental status of his mother? That's a major concern.

You expected all this? May be because you're more experienced than me. I was expecting a nice Devakshi episode with little drama. Also, I'm sick of people trying to be the greatest sacrificers on this show.

Now that you pointed out, I do think that everyone stuck to their characters

See I agree that this might be happening in many households, fine, but the promos I saw did not promise all that. It promised something I could stomach, something mature. What we all are seeing now is just TRP material not what the promos showed. Even that Naamkarann is similar to this show, I started watching Ek Rishta Saajhedaari ka (peace)
The show has changed too much! GRB and Ishwari are enough for all the spice, did not need another character for that.

The makers are dragging the negativity too much.
