The show is getting high on unpleasant and unwanted Drama these days, certainly not the show we rooted for!

I hope the makers haven't made their mind to enter in the trp race, the damage being done is irreparable.

And really, whats with the aversion of showing the main leads romance?

Nothing has changed for Dev's character.

Still a blind devotee of his mother and blaming Sona's family at moment and preaching Sona , " why are we fighting this is our first night " the next moment !!! Like, seriously dude ??? 😲 😕

You expect her to reciprocate your romantic approaches after your family members taunted and freely passed extremely rude and outright snide remarks about her and her family, blaming her for Ishwari's health condition and your mom basically told poor girl on her face that she only agreed for the marriage becoz of your Zid , heck she was one stop away from calling Sona Khilona for Dev , but she read the message loud and clear , and yet you sat like stuffed statue and didn't utter a word to support her and protect her honor . Mama ji was much much more supportive than you.

It's really nothing to say romantic charming dialogs behind closed doors and declare your ever lasting "love" for her , even your road side Romeo brother Vicky can do that too if he tries. The real man stands up for and stands by his wife.

Worse, he blamed Sona's family for multiple time insulting Ishwari , when Dev and his mother , GKB< Bua ji etc are responsible for many fold insults sufferings and misery and humiliation of Sona's family, which DEv conveniently ignored . Also the afct that they never ever apologized for it.

And then to to put the cherry on top, he blamed his family for the fish fiasco , when Sourav and Elena made it abundantly clear that it was a mistake of the decorators , profusely apologized for it and also it's his family who insulted them back by throwing away an auspicious object for Bengalis like fish in front of their eyes . Was it so necessary to do it in front of them ?? what about manners ??

Ohh I'm so sorry DEv's family needs no manners. They're above it. 😃

NO pity or sympathy for Sona either. She dug her own grave by agreeing for this marriage too soon with out clearing the existing issues and naively foolishly blindly thinking and believing that every thing has changed for the better on their own one fine morning , despite repeated warnings from her far more mature father.

today was the episode where every one was wrong and every one was right... i am actually laughing at the episode... what have they done to the show... and that dadi bua is other irritating character and her speech tomorrow is unbearable but the thing is she is same with everybody be it ishwari, her own bahu(no name bahu) and now with sona...

But joking aside, it seems I will be cringing in every episode from now on. Since I am not so Mahaan, if I were Sona, I'd ask Dev that if I am insulted by your family member, what will you do for my honour?

Straight forward question which deserves a straight forward answer. Be prepared to hear the following response and have the courage to walk away if the answer is "NOTHING".

The only reason Sona is not asking this question is because she already knows the answer , which is " I'll behave as if I don't understand you and your family are being insulted in front of my eyes , because isn't it so difficult to understand whether such obnoxious rude offensive snide remarks are made with lots of love or not especially when my family members are saying such lines , it must be out of love na 😳, and there by conveniently avoid the need to react , let alone protect and support your honor. " 🤢

Sona is too weak in love to walk out . So she can't ever ask this question. Hearing the answer she already knows in the back of her mind , or the lack thereof will break her for good.

All of us are hoping that the makers don't enter the mad trp race and stick to their original plan of showing a mature love story but I think that's where they're headed.

If Sona ever asks him that, he'll be like- 'When did my family insult you or your family? Voh toh tumse bahut pyaar karte hai. Can't you see their love? Why can't you see it?'

I'm now sure about the upcoming infertility track. Dev will never stand up for Sona when his family will insult her left right and centre for being infertile. He was mahaan enough to hide it from Sonakshi but is not mahaan enough to take a stand in front of his family because 'meri maa meri bhagwaan hai'

Sona ignored everything before they got married, even the obvious signs and now she's questioning Dev. Biggest joke ever 😆

The show has changed too much! GRB and Ishwari are enough for all the spice, did not need another character for that.

The makers are dragging the negativity too much.

I agree they have changed the story line for TRPs

But one thing I would like to say here - when a show is conceptualised the characters are caricatures and as the show progresses they get flesh and blood in them.

Dev and Sonakshis love had been shown too passionate and if after that they had shown the duo behaving the way they did in the initial promos, it would have looked abnormal. They had already shown too much passion and emotional investment by both of them and in such cases it would have looked seriously odd if there was no angst, bitterness or emotional breakdown.

Further if one looks closely only the story has been changed the basic characterisation remains the same except in case of Dev. From a sensible guy who understands his mother's issues (as shown in the promo) he has become a total cry baby and blind to her faults.

Ishwari is still shown very sly and cunning. Buaji is there because Ishwari is using her to say what she can't to preserve her holier than thou image.

Sonakshi is still sensible and mature but ended up doing the emotional mistakes most girls do in real life. Why do you think so many love marriages end up in divorces?. This marriage is also marching towards estrangement as slowly Sonakshi will realise that her dream was just that only a dream

That was the only smart thing Sonakshi did. Deny Dev baby his conjugal rights. Three or four nights in a row and he will himself drop Buaji to station and ask gkb to shut up. Nothing works faster than this. Men are still neanderthal in some matters 😆
