This year no one except Vishal Bhardwaj booked this date. Vishal wanted to release Rangoon on Gandhi Jayanti, coz he feels this day is lucky for him Haider and Talwar both released on GJ.

It's only when VB postponed Rangoon's release Neeraj Pandey took this date.

That's a bad track record lol..only 1 hit
But MSD will not be affected IMO...its not released on 2nd and plus expected to make 60crs weekend...

That's why you guys should follow our Amreekan method of holidays...We have all our national holidays adjusted to be on a Monday, no matter which day the real date falls on...That way we get 3 days at one go...👍🏼

Actually we do get it adjusted but in terms of other holiday..We have fixed 10 days for corporate..If we are not getting it for 2nd October we will get an extra holiday in dusserra or diwali or something else..But number of holidays are fixed..For Govt and PSUs there are extra holidays I guess..

^^ I remember though, last year there were a lot of extended weekends. During, Diwali, Independence day, Dussehra, Eid. You just had to take one leave and could easily go on a mini vacation. This time the holiday list is not that flattering for some reason. 😭
